OG Kush x Blue Satellite...

Hello there fellow growers...

It's been a long time since i have posted some pics of whats going on in my green little world...
So here's some stuff to cheer you guys up...well, so i hope so.

First some techn info:
the strain i'm growing at the moment is OG Kush x Blue Satellite (from Plan B over at bcbuddepot.com)
It all goes down in a 1m x 1m x 2m budbox with a 600 watt HPS...
Using the CANNA nutrients...

They have had about 7 to 8 weeks of veg and are now 1 week into flowering...
I started out with 6 plants from seed... Unfortunatly only 2 were female! Lukily they have filled out nicely... I think three of these would barely fit in my box...

It's an OG Kush Hybrid crossed to BS#1

So does that mean it is an OG Kush crossed with something else and then crossed to the BS#1?? Sorry for the newbie question... Just wanna learn... and i dont exactly know what a hybrid is... tnx for all help.....

yes indeed it is...
I haven't experienced anything negative yet, at all...
seeds were received without too many problems from bcbuddepot.com
all plants had very uniform growth and look alot like some other pics ive seen...
the way they look now, with their dark green color, i'm pretty sure i'll get some killer dank budzzz...

Thats an OG Kush trait.
My OG Kush does that too. I have no idea why though?
I think it might be from over feeding during the transition to flower.
But I'm not sure. It only happens to me right when the plant starts to flower.
For a couple days.
Then it stops and straightens out.

do a search hard mind , a friend from the PNW has grown and shown these already here on icmag , they looked killer!!

I will try and keep this thread up to date and post pics weekly to see how these turn out... I'll do my best but im pretty busy lately....

a friend gave me a cut of that along with a pack of the beans over the summer. I grew the cut out. Yield wasn't great, and I was unimpressed with the smoke. Maybe I just got a bad cut but it won't be making a return appearance in my garden, altho I may run the beanz to make some f2s to give away as freebies.

After growing OG Kush, I'm not a huge fan of OG hybrids.
I like some of them. But I just want to smoke OG Kush on it's own ,all the time.
Those buds look bomb bro.

Thanks for the info razor. I deleted my post to stop the misinfo from spreading. Im a little disappointed that nowhere on any of the SOL distributer site does it list the OG as a hybrid. Which leads to my questioning, why use a OG hybrid as opposed to pure OG? Im glad I didnt purchase those now. Think I'll try and make my own when I get a chance. Pure OG x Blue Satellite#1, thats sounds right. Take care

good info indeed......thx raze....i grew these months ago and never knew there was HP crossed into it..........ticks me off........think its unintentional that the OG was pushed as momma?........doubt it......is there no honor among theives even?.........ah well.........she sure threw some resinated eggs..........and certainly grew like a kush........this pheno stretched like crazy.............nate







Heres the other pheno, run of the mill hybrid structure.......both had good smoke.....but the kush pheno had this crazy carbonated citrus sweetness.......like sprite..........nate

thanks for stopping by natefrog... It's all because of your pics that i started to grow these babies... There's so much frost on those budz that i just couldn't resist! I'm thinking that i'll get the sprite pheno because of the dark green color the leaves have...Or so i hope so! The other pheno looks alot brighter...

yeah hardmine.... you know those funny yellow leafs...ur right.. i found that if you start with a lower ppm (500-700)when u flipp...and keep the nights warmer then the days for the first 2 weeks...no more funny leafs...does that happen on the bottom leafs...??? i allways thought it was just the og telling me to pull off bottom shit..as it was on the bottoms below the love level...sometimes if you have lower temps below 75 at day it will happen a little bit,,,.....OG KUSh Is A Great Bush...im going to mix her up with some Haw.snow
next year project....
