I got the chance to smoke some og kush today. I actually live on the east coast, but it was delivered to a friend from humbolt. From smoking several kushes i could tell it was definately a kush, from the extreme lung expansion and earthy flavor. I am almost positive it's the real deal, but even if it wasn't this was some very good quality bud. I got about 1.5 grams for $20, which is very cheap considering no one around here even has access to bud this good. Decent strains go for $400+ an ounce here, og would normally go for $500-$600 an ounce around here.
Smell/Appeal- A solid 10, these buds are covered in triches and are very dense. The smell is amazing, several people in my room could smell it as soon as i opened my grinder and they were about 15 feet away. When broken up the smell is VERY strong. It has a strong fuel but also slightly fruity smell. This bud was obviously cured and dried properly.
High- A solid 9. This stuff is strong and the high hits quick and hard. It's not my personal favorite, but boy is the high strong. Numbs pain fairly well, the knock you the fuck out. Major couchlock and strong body stone. The high lasts for a very long time compared to most strains, it lasted for a good 2 hours.
Potency- A solid 10. Like i said, the high wasn't my favorite but damn was the potency there. This stuff hits you like a ton of bricks fast and hard. I can barely think and do not want to move on this weed. It has knock down potency.
Taste/Lung Expansion: It had a very strong flavor. The flavor was very earthy but with a hint of fruit. This stuff kills your lungs, even a small hit will make your lungs feel like they are on fire...this was from the pure amount of triches outside of it. The lung expansion was the only thing i didn't like, it was almost too harsh to smoke but was worth it in the end.
Conclusion: This stuff is one of the best i've smoked so far. It is perfect for people looking for a very strong couchlock indica stone. I personally thought it was too strong and had too much couchlock for my tastes, but the potency was probably the highest i've come across and is perfect for alot of people. Just be warned, this stuff hits your lung hard and will leave you coughing for a solid minute or two.
