OG Kush Smoke/Grow Report

Hi gang!
It's time for another medical marijuana report from closed4fishing.

Strain: OG Kush #18 (2 feminized seed)
Breeder: (Can't mention due to website policies)
Grower: closed4fishing
Grow Info:
Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, FF Nutes (Grow, Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom). Vegged for 2 wks under 200W T5. Flowered for 65 days under 250W HPS & 250W CFL (red spectrum). Dried for 7 days in 50% humidity then into jars for cure. Only about 3.5 oz between the 2 girls. My veg time was minimal because of height concerns. She ended up about 33 inches. Easy to grow.
Cure at time of smoke test:
21 days

Bag Appeal: A+++
Even though this will never be in a bag because it's for personal medical use, this stuff is beautiful! It is extremely coated in trichs and very dark green with bright orange hairs.
Smell:
I think this stuff has a bit more of the Chemdog smell than the OG Kush smell. A bit fuely smelling but very pleasant and musky too. Very hashy smells when growing.
Taste:
This is one strain that is hard to describe on taste. It has a chemy fuely taste with a kush aftertaste. Every once in a while, I'll get a small skunk taste too. It is very nice to smoke and you can take huge rips, but then your lungs will explode.

Effect:
Super super stoney. This stuff sets me back and makes me a zombie. If you keep smoking it, don't plan on doing much. In small quantities, it can be a perfect body/mind stone allowing you to function with a slight happy tilt.

Possible Medical Uses
Insomnia (in high doses)
back/neck pain (medium/high doses)
appetite (any dose)
Stress relief in small quantities, zombification in large quantities.

Final Thoughts:
Very nice strain to grow. Not my favorite in the world, but definitely a nice one to have around. Extremely potent, excellent flavor and nice yields. The guys over at RP made a gem with this one!

Thanks for the report. I concur. I just grew it out and it's finishing a four week cure. What I've samples reveals that it ranks among the best ganja that I have ever had the privilege of smoking. An exalted and amazing high. Trippy. No anxiety. Long lasting and little or no tolerance. Excellent body rushes and warmth while thinking unimpaired and devastatingly clear and uplifting. The word "royal" comes to mind. The taste is complex and wonderful. Citric and fruity with some darker hints supplying a base. And it's beautiful. It glistens.

mine look just like urs
i chopped one but have others that get the chop in 1 week
i found mine took forever and stretched a ton.........u didnt seem to have that problem

Thanks for the report! You don't see OG18 grown out too much, i have some going now, only it's a skunk cross.

I grew out three...they were extremely uniform and easy grows...and VERY special high. Subjectively, of course.

Good to see this report. I have about 15 of these that I am going to be taking cutting from and throwing into flower in about a week. I have the OGKush but really liked the sound of this pheno. I have a 95% germ rate with these beans and they have grown very nicely. There are many OGkush cutting floating around here in Cali so I am curious how the 18 is going to stack up. Anyways thanks for the details.

yo i got 6 seeds up and going right now; how do they grow as far as uniformity/phenotypes goes... this is my first feminized seed run so i don't know what to expect... any tips? they like to be topped/trained/specific nutes etc? seems like they r worth flowering out and keeping moms of for sure though

That looks similar to one pheno I encountered in my bloombox. It took 90+ days to flower and was really scragilly. I can't tell if yours is scragilly but the long flower time reminds me of the pheno I saw. The other two my report were on grew totally different from the scraggely one and filled in nicely. They were ready a good month before the other one.

well they are kinda thin but they have some many branches attached to the cola they are massive
i have 3 trees that could be 3 or 4 oz each easy
i had a pheno that was less.........but didnt have any many trichs
