OG kush and Blueberry cross

A buddy of mine kicked me down a single DJ Short's Blueberry seed he had saved from the last batch he had planted. Now I abandoned using seeds the day I learned how to take clones. I just find it to be more efficient and you always know that you're gonna have all girls. Here's what I was thinking just in case this one seed does end up being a male...

I wanted to do a cross with Bubba Kush and/or OG Kush to hopefully give it that kush kick. Does anybody know if this cross has been done yet or not? I am by no means a breeder, but am very interested in genetics and breeding. I figure you have to start somewhere and why not here. Let me know what you guys think...

it hasnt been done commercially.. but no idea's original; there's nothing new under the sun.. both been around for long enough.. I imagine someone has done it before, but good chance it didnt leave their garden..

It would be better to have many seeds to grow out, because the thing that will make a fantastic strain is one in 500, or more. For example: open pollenate a pack or two of BB, get alot of seeds, then make ur selection.

I agree with aeric, but if you are a small scale grower and don't have the money or time for a huge selection, this cross would be great for your secret stash.

It's possible somebody has created it already, but if your Blueberry is somewhat a better pheno/selection then the cross may be better I guess. But from one seed you couldn't really compare if that Blueberry is actually a good one to use for breeding. You would need to grow a good number of seeds to make a good selection.
Cross them anyway, you wouldn't know unless you try it yourself, trial and error until you find good breeding partners.

ive done it with my ogkush s1 and highend male that was on the blueberry side.
im happy with the rezults although i cant say its better then the perents.
i still prefer my highend clean.
i just hit the og with some skunk1 male and waiting to see how they come out.

I thought of the same thing when I first thought of doing this project. I don't know entirely too much about breeding, but I do know that breeders make their parent selection out of hundreds if not thousands of plants. I'm just mainly looking to have fun really. I was able to open up a space and get an extra light just to use on this project so I was thinking why not. I know I want to get into breeding some day.

I'd say do it. I think it would turn out great. Blue Kush maybe.

I'm not saying don't do it, just maybe try to at least have a few more to select from as a minimum, but who knows u may get lucky. By the way u don't need a large space to test out seed, just a seperate space. Even a 3x3 would allow alot of testing, if plants are kept small. You could start out with 100 in dixie cups, select the 40-50 best and transplant to 5-6" square containers, etc...

a friend of mine bred her tis called "Blubog".

said to be some killer herbs...

have seen pics and looks awesome and is a hot product in the hollywood area.

...i just got some blueberry x og kush seeds, so i had to look on here to see if anyone else has had them

it's weird ctg said it's going around hollywood, a friend of mine who lives in cali just came to visit, before he left, i told him to scoop me some gnarly seeds...he brought me 10 blueberry x og kush and 10 ak47, he said he had to pay $150 for them, so i gave him $200 and a bag for helping me out...

i just started 2 blue kush and 2 ak tonight, looking forward to seeing what they look like...( i got a smaller grow, i don't got the room to start any more then 4 at a time )
