hey all, OG Kush project been workin on. took swerves SFV cut, crossed with kali Kush OG pollens, buddy down under found a male in the KK OG S1s.

stretch like ya never seen, more then any haze ive grown. had to take 12 inches off the two main tops to fit in the space.

frosty, but not much aroma at this point, about 4 weeks left on um.

second plant there just under way, and much smaller plant, alot like the SFV cut in growth.

nope, its a OG jam session, this is the beginnins of the project, and hope to hit up many more OG plants, tahoe OG will be next, with whatever other cuts show up. poisen in the works, and who knows what else.

did slather a bit of X18 X DC pollens on the large plant here. try and knock the stretch down.

little update on how things are goin.

plant on the left is the #1 from clone, just like from seed, long legs that just wont quit. killed off the clone in veg, theres some seed still ripenin on the first run(X18 x DC), after i harvested the plant, i left some small popcorn on the bottom, and pollied um. plants still alive, and the seed are brownin now.

plant on the right is the #3 plant, small stretch, hard SFV buds on her, and when checkin aromas last night she has a vicks vapo rub aroma with diesel/fuel all over it. sticky trics. very nice plant, with not much sativa influence present.

the #2 plant turned out bad, looked like she needed a bit of nutes, and it just ruined the plant, so clone is veggin, and be a bit before get to rerun it.

thanks for stoppin in, idea was nothin but OG Kush genes in the seedline, thought i might get a male from the cross with the male S1 pollens, but didnt happen, so im in a fix. to keep straight OG genes, most likely self a OG to keep goin, and hope for a male down the road.

also this is a SFV X Ghost OG cross, as the kaliKush OG im told is the Ghost cut.

heres the #1 plant from clone, had to bend the top over, stretches worse then anything ive ever grown. ive killed the clone in veg and ran some X18 X DC pollens across the first run. seed are dryin.

if not for the stretch would be worth keepin around, just thick frost on her.

heres the #3 plant, nice hard SFV type buds, skunky fuel aroma, tight OG Kush, one of the better ive grown as far as holdin itself up, and minimal stretch.

have you seen any improvements on OG's weight production with all the crosses you've come across and still hold true to being OG? i guess what i'm asking is, "Do you think its possible to cross an OG kush, find an OG dominant pheno while improving on yeild?"

i've seen crosses that are BIG improvements on OG's yeild but may lack in key areas like strength of smell, or flavor compared to the clone used.

its possible, but i myself havent seen it. did the sfv and triple X JC BX1, definitly improved yields, but none of the plants come across like the OG used. were pretty good smoke wise, and some actually pretty potent, but no, nothin like the clone itself.

this cross SFV X Ghost, are all easily recognizable as OG plants, alot of fuel, not much of the lemon dank.

OMG!!!! Those look real special CBF..."thick" frost is definately a nice term for it. I have 2 SD x OG from JLP and about 30 days into flower and one of them looks alot like the #1 u displayed here. crazy stretch and branching. I just hope that i can match the frost on your outstanding specimen...good job brother!

nice cbf. the og seems to pass on calmag hog and has issues with N if i'm correct. i find og hard to dial in 100%, but i've only ran her twice.

Hola NDN, have smoked the #1 plant, its plain green fuel aroma and taste. fairly strong aroma and smoke. nothin like the sfv. lotta resin was its best attribute. outcorssed and killed the clone off.

the #3 has the same aroma but the dense chunky sfv bud. havent had the pleasure yet. much tighter growin plant.

Koopa, OG kush has all kinds of issues, lol. but yes they are tough to get just right. when i had the tahoe, it always came out fuely skunk in my OP, in my buddies it would have the lemon citrus, even some floral goin on. same nutes and soil?????????

both of these plants, dont seem to need fed, just a bit of mag to keep um goin. the #1 plant i havent fed in flower yet, and its still dark ass green. the #3 there i fucked up with to much N as you can see. some damn mites have moved on site as well, another season of fightin them fookers.
