Of course I bought a used broken mini washer from Walmart

Kind of annoyed by a situation I landed in after ordering a mini washer from walmart for bubble hashing.

To be fair, I am kind of stuck in this situation at the moment because I modified the washer before testing it for viability and the original draining hose was heavily damaged in the removal.

I bought some 6~ gallon mini washer from walmart, and upon receiving it I thought it looked like there were some marks on it in weird places which made me think it was returned after use and sold again. I didn't really pay much attention to it because overall it looked fine and was clean but it did make me think about it a little. That was 3 weeks ago. I should have immediately tested it with water, but I didn't.

I actually harvested a few days ago and froze a bunch for washing with the intention of using the machine today. So before I was going to use it, I went to fill it and test it before doing anything with it. As soon as I put in water, I found a steady leak. The fun part was that it was leaking internally and dripping all over the electronic components and the motor! I was like AHHHHHHH and pulled out the plug fast. Good thing the exposed wire connections were protected within some little plastic bag around the wire cluster.

I found this leak was my fault cause I didn't put a screw back in after removing the drain hole cover. Apparently, the screw hole to secure that cover goes all the way through and if the screw isn't there it leaks.

Ok, so I am thinking cool. We are good. Let's fill again. Filled again and then it was leaking from somewhere else! This was harder to track down but I found a crack in the frame. This crack was directly over the motor and was how water was leaking directly on to the motor, instead of from the other leak I fixed.

Naturally, this was upsetting. So then I'm like well.... I still need a washer and since I modified this one already, by replacing the corrugated tubing, I can't return it. Plus, I tossed the box since I got the washer 3 weeks ago. So... I went to order another one. But when I went to review my previous purchase I noticed that they didn't even send me the listed/advertised washer! They sent me a Zeny instead of the one that is listed on the page that I bought! It's totally different in flair and trim, but the same generic design. But the Zeny is priced lower on Amazon than the brand I grabbed. I thought the walmart one looked better than the Zeny and goes for 100 on amazon, but 78 at walmart. On top of that the Zeny is 5.7 gallons and the one from walmart, HomeGarden, was listed at 6.6 gallons. I noticed this just today adding to the annoyance.

My plan now, is that I ordered another one and this time it better be the one pictured online. Then what I am going to do, is take off the top part and put it on the other one and return the broken shit. Since I will be able to remodify it back to it's original state using the new washer's drain hose and box then return it for NOT BEING WHAT I BOUGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE and also being cracked and leaking all over the electric parts.

I know I should have tested it first with water as soon as I got it before doing anything. But I was still a few weeks off from needing it, so I just pulled off the drain tube to get the circumference so I could buy a tube that would fit. Oh, and the tube was glued on to the machine. I was able to remove with heat, razor blades, tweezers, and goo gone.

Hopefully, the washer comes within 3 days like the last time. Cause we are passing 48 hours in the freezer for the fresh frozen and I would like to use it within the week.

Sorry for the diatribe, but I had to share and I figured this would resonate with like minded people.

The worst part is that my freezer is filled with fresh frozen and ice bags I planned on using today and I have had no room for pizzas for a few days(such a terrible terrible awful problem to have). That's the travesty here, no room for pizza. :ROFLMAO:

Sorry to hear friend. Hey, It's nice to have problems with a freezer full of weed waiting for you. Your weed is ok until you can get another washer. Just spend a little extra and get yourself a good one from a good source. I think they are of better quality from the UK.

That's terrible.

Send me a safe address.

I bought a mini dryer that doesn't work.

Maybe if we can get them together they can not do Miley Cyrus' pants laundry...

Because her pants don't seem to work either.
