Hi wondered if anyone can tell me can palnts be grown in a house without filters etc. my friend wants me to help him grow in a terraced house but we dont have much money and I'm not sure how smelly thay can get? Wouldn't like to see him or me get into trouble, would the neighbours next door be able to smell it? Thanks for any help

neighbors will most definately smell it. i had a kid who grew next door to me in a condo and i could smell it into my place(strong all day long). the only thing that saved him was o.n.a.. when he ran that it covered it up well and you couldnt smell it. but when he ran out it was right back to the powerful odor. The hobby isnt cheap and odor will be the first thing to getcha busted.
following a few reports i've found that adding white vinegar to water does indeed drastically reduce veg odor.
the caveat is that, while it is a natural ph down, white vinegar has also been used to kill weeds.
my experience with it is that it is effective, and probably ideal for a small grow, but you need to keep on top of it - use it strategically so that you don't use too much - i'd say once when she starts to put on veg growth and once more early in flower. the one plant i grew with it was good quality but didn't have much flavour to it, and i have no clue how good/big she would have grown without it.

They can REEK. Use a filter, find the money. The few bucks a filter costs far out weighs what could happen with out one. A filter is a cheap way to STAY OUT OF JAIL!!!!!!!!! Don't be cheap and pay an avoidable higher price later cause it smelled. Don't be stupid, stupid gets you busted. Just my two cents.

Get a filter man, Its going to stink and anyone who's ever smelt ganja will figure it out real quick.
I grew in country that is extremely naive when it comes to weed, 80% would never have seen buds before and the majority prob dont realize hash came from buds lol.
Barely anyone smokes there except for the foreigners and I got away without odour control solely thanks to this fact, the whole apartment building reeked, but none of the other tenants(almost all pensioners or middle aged) had the slightest idea.
Any of my friends who visited would smell it within a few seconds of being in the main foyer.....
