odor question.......

looking to do my first grow and am looking at an autoflower for quick turn around and shorter height....

my wife gets migraines and is real sensitive to smells, real skunky smelling weed will kick one in......any of the auto flowers have a fruitier or some other smell during growth and flower?.....the plan is for hash for tinctures so i dont care bout the smell of the smoke.....

last bag i bought(not sure what it was) even the dry bud kicked one in before i toked, thats how sensitive her head can be on a bad day so its an important issue.....

You could try, for example, the Bluestreak, which got a nice fruit smell, the taste ain't my favorite but it produces a lot of resin, i bet its hash would be very nice

There are also purple jems, hindu kush, snowryder,..., and many more i guess... no real dank smell here.

the blue streak is a real stinker in terms of smell. ya it doesnt smell RANK skunk but it is strong smelling. LowRyder #2 is a SKUNKY BEAST! and Diesel Ryder is a stinker too dont do those 2 for sure.

Its true some phenos can smell quite strong, but I figured it wouldn't be as agressive as the skunky or diesel strains for the lady, so maybe it could be a good bet.
I have migraines myself (not because of smells though, more with lights and noises), I know how horrible it can be, I hope you'll find something adequate for both of you guys.

I would recommend the Purple Mazar, smells of strawberrys and the smell in not to strong. The high and taste is very nice, lots of resin and good yeilder.

many thanks.....will order several different of those recommended and just cull what has a smell that is to strong......state law says i can have up to 6 plants anyway which allows me to experiment some.....

nope she doesnt care one bit, hell she suggested i start back up after a nearly 9 year dry spell.....she gets around the wrong smell and it requires a trip to the ER......if you havent known someone that gets migraines real bad its hard to understand, hell ive run into doctors that dont believe in them.....cigarette smoke, old lady perfumes, strobe lights, wine, aged cheese, aspartame in diet sodas will all kick one in......will go from fine to extreme pain and puking in minutes.....

bought some and toked after getting the all clear and wound up having to haul her up to the hospital for a shot.....so now im gonna grow my own to make hash i can injest without smoking....

Why not just buy a good can filter/fan combo to scrub any smells in the grow area? If you not going to be smoking around her, and she stays out of the grow..

Buy a Good carbon scrubber and a volcano vaporizer! The scrubber will rid all smells of a grow room and the vape will help reduce the strong smells of burnt weed....

no she hasnt.....dont expect she will either given the regiment she is on now has gotten rid of 90% or better of the migraines she had compared to just a few years ago as well as lowering the severity of the ones she does have......
