Odd single branch

G

Guest

Strain: Blue Mystic
Flower Days: 50
Issue: Went on vacation and left unattended for a period of time, believe temps got way higher than they should.

The plant is healthy, looks great, frosting up nicely and ready for a flush. However, there was a single branch that looks like it died, while the rest of the plant flourished... I just dont get it, never seen it and can't explain it. The stem was not torn, I even took a pic of it after snipping off the gnarly branch... any ideas?

interesting... The rest of her is a-ok, so no spreading, which makes it even stranger as I'd assume a fungal infestation or 'rot' would creep around the plant... and it's not affecting any of the other ladies in the room so not plant hopping. Roots look fine...blah blah

Just bizarre....

Here is a full pic of her.... as you can see this was the only branch that 'died' while on this fine lady... Any ideas or is it the 'mystery single-branch-non-spreading fungus'?

Ok this REALLY sucks.... I guess I should have made the title to my post in all caps. Plant is lost now.

She went from this

to this IN 24 HOURS!

Here are some stem shots - ANY ideas are welcome... I have never had this happen and for it to hit within 24hrs, that worries me.
