ocean forest, happy frog, perlite, coco grow

Start my buddies grow back up for him while his indisposed :comfort: using a 40/60 ocean forest/happy frog soil mixture and of that 30% perlite and 20% coco tek. I have a sample of roots excelurator i may add as well. Im thinking The two different soils have a combination of elements that seem to be beneifical together (Humic acid and bacteria/worm castings and guano) while the coco will add some nutrient retention and perlite adding aeration. Throw some lime in there too.... Starting in inexpensive 1 gal grow bags and the will probably transplant to larger air pots. PICS COMING SOON!

Pic of roots, was that using roots excelurator? Interested in this...

I used a new product called "tappin roots" (free sample from my hydro store guy) but best results i believe is from misting the bottom of the clone tray after they root out and immediately remist once the tray is dry. Repeat this and your roots with expand almost endlessly. So much that my roots got tangled up with surrounding clones.

My DWC using "Tappin Roots" seems to help roots grow healthy. Not too versed in DWC yet but if i had to guess a 20% root growth rate increase.

I'll ride along, you almost go my water only mix going on dude! Good call on the lime will make shit a lot more stable for ya. Lookin good so far!

Last night I Sprayed them with Axiom (harpin protiens) Showing decent growth for not seeing them for 3-4 days. Also showing preflowers already! The 20% coco has helped retain enough moisture to avoid drying out too much. Im assisting my homie while he is locked up so not able to check on them everyday. Considering that, they are doing well. Stacking nodes pretty well even under an HPS. Planning to get a MH asap
