Oaxaca in September

I will be traveling in Oaxaca this September. I'm interested in finding local cannabis there, especially con semilla. Can anyone recommend places to acquire it? I've read that on the coast, in particular Zipolite is a possibility, but I will also be traveling in the interior, mainly around Oaxaca city. Any tips are greatly appreciated!

Not dangerous if you have a modicum of common sense.

I went there about 10 years ago. In Zipolite, on the beach , there was an american hippy dude who had the best smoke I have ever had.

He gave us a few 1ft stems that had very sparse buds that looked like thistles. They reeked of pine, didn't smell of weed at all, just pure pine.

The smoke was 1 hour of continuous uncontrollable laughter, mild visuals and stoniness. After 1 hour exactly, it wore off, requiring another spiff.

Ask around on the beach for weed that smells of pine. If you get any, please save as many seeds as you can and maybe send me a few.

I saved some seeds but none germed although they looked viable.

Good luck mate. Be very careful of the sea at Zipolite. I nearly died swimming there! Around 30 people die each season swimming there. Strongest current ever!

e2a - didn't get anything worth smoking from locals in Oaxaca city or mountains, just from this hippy dude on zipolite beach.

There are lots of people selling peyote etc on the beach too.

After two days in Oaxaca city, I was sipping jugo de tuna (Cactus blossom juice) in a Oaxaca park and a hippy kid came up to me asking if I was interested in buying some of his bracelets. I quickly uttered the phrase I'd been rehearsing: 'Donde puedo buscar la mota?' His eyes lit up, and he replied with 'Siiii!!!'

Before I knew it, I had a small bolsa (sack) for about 50 pesos. That's less than $4 US. It would have cost me about $30 for the same amount at home. It wasn't the finest looking bud I've ever seen, but the smoke tasted excellent (sort of like juicy fruit) and the high was amazing. A bit racey, but mellow at the same time. It took me a few times to get used to it, and from then on I was able to enjoy it tremendously. Nothing like the Indica dominant stuff from home.

Communicating with the guy was a bit hard since he knew no english and my spanish is pisspoor, but he told me that it was grown outdoors, not far from the city. Plants are about 5-6 feet high. Not pure sinsemilla, but lightly seeded. Some photos:

helloo ,i got weed from mexico Cancun Yucatan,from old mexican farmer who living on the beach there and growing same seeds many years.the high was very happy.
look at my pictures and sory for my shity english ,10g of this costed 500pesos,5g 300pesos and its sensimilla(seed weed),and its very sativa.
