There was a protest rally in Oakland for a man who was sentenced to one year confined at home and one year in a half-way house for growing 400 marijuana plants and making edibles with the product.
Mickey Martin pleaded guilty to one count of "conspiring to manufacture and distribute a mixture containing a detectable amount of marijuana." He's already done his time at home, but the protest was against his having to go to a half-way house, and a more general protest at Federal prosecutions relating to medical marijuana.
