Hey everyone i might have lice??
i do CoCo recirculating/flooding system 8 waterins a day for a 1min
i need help fast please there eating my roots
so how do i kill them?

j/k....are there pests on your leaves as well or mostly in the root area?

Two things....Zone by dutchmaster for your hydro res and Don't Bug Me spray for your leaves once a week.

Anything living after that should just be your plants.

Ha ha I thought it was to tell the bugs STOP! eating my roots!

I think they are aphids too, and lots of em. Fortunately, easy to kill. Insecticidal soap is very mild and effective against aphids. Just spray em with Safer's Soap or similar - you just want Essential Fatty Acids in the list of ingredients.

The don't Bug Me spray will also work. Pyrethin is a good natural safe pest control. You need to spray the aphids directly.

Sorry Hound I don't agree with spraying leaves premptively...unless you wil get mites or something if you don't. I like my leaves nice and clean when it comes time to smoke.

The Zone will work, but go easy, as I have recently learned, because it contains chloramine and that will kill beneficial microbes.

I agree with you pete not to spray the leaves unless you see bugs on them.
If I didn't make that clear I than I do so now.

Aphids you say? They look nasty but the stop sign looks a little frightening as well.

I've been using it at 2ml gallon for mature plant for fungus gnats. It makes your res a bit 'sudsy" appearing for awhile. As I have recently learned myself, too much can fry your roots so I would stick to adding it when you do res change outs, etc......Don't just add it every other day or something becausee I believe the chlormine will build up to a toxic level.
