Greetings from new user!
album.php

This is my first grow it was ment to be side by side grow with bubbler and soil, under 250HPS. The bubbler back fired and somehow the stem was broken off, but there is a new seed awaiting to be planted in bubbler upon 2 days. If you have any comments, ideas or tips please do share. Thanks in advance! :tiphat:

I planted June 1st, will be updating aprox. once a week.

This is my ghetto set up, so please be gentle. :)

Air condition still missing, but i'm working on that issue and it will be fixed soon enough.

Bubbler is about 2 gallons (UK) and i think the water level in bucket was bit too high and it rotted the stem or so?
For the next seed, what is the optimal water level for next bubbler grow (rooted in peat puck) and how soon can i put it in the bubbler? Should the water level be under the net pot and how much if so?

So here is the ghetto set up.

Picture of plantation 1/2.

Picture of plantation 2/2.

Sorry about blurry pics and fucked up garden :bashhead:

So if you want to trash or compliment my set up please do so. I always welcome criticism good or bad!

That pot is most likely not going to be big enough to run two AF's with much success, especially based on how close you have them to the edges. You'd need to have each in a pot roughly the size of the container you are currently using in order to see good results.

As for your light, it is a little difficult to tell what it is (it looks like a MH) so more information as to its type and wattage would be helpful. Regardless, it needs to be much closer to the plants.

Lastly, do you have any means of measuring the temperature or humidity? It looks like your growing in a unventilated closet and with that HID you'll need to keep a close eye on your temps as it can get very hot very quickly.

In any case, I'll be watching this thread and wishing the best.

toobad you dont have a decent setups for those NYLD seeds, its an awesome and really under-rated strain, one of the best if not the best IMO in terms of potency, taste and yield, good luck anyways!!

Yeah i was worried about the size of container, but i've been told that it should be fine with AF's. Apparently that info was not accurate. I picked up the plant a notch so the light is now much closer. Lamp in use is High pressure sodium/250W.
Yeah i have thermometer so i can keep close eye at temperature, but i dont have anything to measure humidity though...
There will be plenty ventilated closet coming up next week or so. Then temperature drops to ideal i hope .
Sorry about minimal info i thought this thread couldn't get any interest at all.
Anyway i hope i can get even ok crop from this plantation =P I will fix those thing you pointed out and i'll update my pics as soon as possible.

I think there are lots of first time growers who have same problems as me, but they are too stupid/afraid to seek out help.

So i regard this info as priseless and thank you for posting/showing interest to this thread =D

Hey Xtraktor....as already said, idealy you need 10 litre pots minimum straight from seed.

Good luck....

I will wait till they sex and then transplant them separate buckets.
I heard that 10 litre should be ok because they dont grow such large roots.
Anyway i respect your points and i will transplant them separate.

Xtraktor dont worry to much if it is your first time with autos ;) just see how they go in the conditions that you have and in the next grow correct according to what minimized your yield in this current grow... its more fun if you learn along the way instead of being spoon fed :) have 2 plants like that should be fine... call it an experiment.. and if it doesn't work... you know not to do it next time :D

best of luck shroomy
