IMHO SourDiesel is better... more compact buds and yeild is above average in soil, and in the v3' from rez, awesome taste!!.. nothin' like that sour flower....

The majority seems to vote for sour. Anyone grow out L.S.D. and get a 'diesel' pheno?

Sour D packs more of a punch, really potent... it's more compact.
NYCD has a more full and developed flavor... delicious. one of the most fruity smokes i've ever had... also it's supposed to be very easy to grow.

For now i have to say, i didnt smoke a pure SD just the oddest SD pheno of Sage+Sour (THS) were the original SD-clone only were used.This pheno was selected out of 30 beans and it was killer not nessesary to say .....

If you are looking for a more "diesel" based strain then go with REZ all the way. If you want something with some diesel genes and a unigue hybrid then go with SOma. REZ's line is based on ECSD clone while SOMAs is based on a diesel bagseed mixed with Hawaiin and Afgani.
SOma kind of stumbled on strain while Rez has made it his lifes work ( well at least last 3 years work) . Choice is yours , I hope this helped

I smoked the both of them last time at Adam
NYCD from Barneys
and Sour D from Amnesia
and let me tell you that Sour D crushed my head off
NYCD was good but SourD was excellent smoke !

i was able to taste both of these strains a while ago well a while ago for the nycd it was the tangerine pheno whihch was really yummy good high i dig somas work yujmmy good tasty buds..
thgen you have the sour diesel oh how do i love the sour diesel. i just finished smoking the last of my sour d stash and let me say sour d only compares to a few things top quality buds killer smell killer taste killer high
i wouls say if you want to grow good tasty buds go for the nycd and see if you find a good pheno
but
if you want stellar super tasty potent beautiful buds then go with the sour d
