NYC delivery

pretty ridiculous what kind of service you can find in NYC.. honestly though the bud theyre selling is pretty good but far too overpriced. my friend started using one of those services, why i don't know.. they charged $50 for roughly 2.2-2.4 grams and after a while they only sold 2 cubes at a time, forcing people to buy under 5 grams for 100 dollars.. !!!!

also around the block from him was a deli, a friend of ours went to go buy beer there, then went back later to buy beer and a blunt, the guy at the counter handed him a card with the name of the place and a phone number and said "we deliver 24/7". we called later and when someone asnwered my friend asked "you deliver?" after a brief pause the guy changed his tone and said "yeah yeah whatchu need" sadly we were all far to drunk to pull of the call without sounding suspicious.. philly needs this kind of service.

anyone else have experiences with delivery weed?

i'm not in NYC, (closer to ur vicinity, from what i gather), but quite a few of those wee lil' "cubes" used to make their way down here, (in my "youth", lol), but haven't seen 'em around these parts in a while.

ahhh I remember cubes...

I seen in an old high times the cubes...in fact the article was about the delivery services

they showed a cool picture of all these different cubes of greens..like nyc diesel, cherry AK, bubblegum, strawberry cough...each ones lables were all colorful and unique according to strain

i don't thin k its that outrageous for them to charge that. sure, the prices are higher, but they're taking more risk delivering it, you know its a sage way to get your herb and you never have to deal with sketchy dealers. even though these guys/girls rip you off, at least you know it ahead of time. For lots of businessmen and women who don't want to be seen going to a dealer to buy their weed bc it would risk their reputations, this service is perfect and probably well worth it.

Super good headies cost $20 a gram in my county, and they don't even deliver.

So $50 for 2.5 seems standard, especially for New York where you pay fuckin $5,000 a month to rent a shitty house.

Most Cannabis Clubs when I was in the San Fran area charged $60+ an eighth, and they don't deliver either, and that is when it is legal!.

So really, it is a good deal.

I mean, 90% of people in my area pay pay $40-$50 an eighth for horrible beaster with no trichomes, or smell, that barely gets you high and is soaking wet.

I would rather pay $50 for 2.5 grams of headies, than $50 for 3.5 grams of beaster any day of the week!

Especially since an 3.5 grams of beaster is more like 1.5 grams of beaster and 2.0 grams of water.

Middies same deal you get seed weight and it is shitty.

Before I started growing I would have payed $20 a gram for headies no problem, thing is you can't even find headies for $20 a gram in most places except on rare occasions.

Some people charge $25 a gram for headies in the suburbs.

well like you said toker, the whole reason for the shitty price is New Yorks general cost of living. shit, wouldn't be surprised if bloomberg was taxing it, things sure did change when a business tycoon took over the city. but yeah, anywhere that you pay $3 for a bagel with cream cheese.. you can expect to be paying a whole lot more for drugs. except crack i guess.

San Fran is the same way, ridiculous cost of living, that is why I moved.

When you have to fight 3 possible renters tooth & nail for a $2,200 a month single bedroom apartment it is time to find another area.

NYC is even worse, your paying the same amount to live in a shit hole with rats crawling out of the walls & bums aggressively begging you for money outside of your house.

Also, I hate big city land lords... they have all been ass fucked by at least 40% of their previous renters, so they are highly suspicious & want to do an inspection every fucking month, they want $4,000 down, super extensive back round check, picture of your children and the school they go to etc.

Every time I call a big city land lord to ask about the place they are like "yeah well the last people I rented to partied, made noise, broke everything, didn't pay rent, broke lease etc.

If you are young forget it.
