Apparently there has been some minor confusion about the Nuwave. After spending many hours getting caught up on the entire GS Cookie thread (I know, I know, your like, "where the hell has he been?"...lol) & talking to a couple people, it is to my understanding that a couple years back (in the midst of the cookie craze), someone had released cuts to some people on the forum labeled "GSC" that turned out being a 3X aka "triple threat" cut ("Nuwave" to some folks).
The reason why some folks were calling the 3X (triple threat) "Nuwave" was because they were unaware at the time that the breeder had taken that particular 3X cut & crossed it to a Fire OG...naming it Nuwave. So even though nobody ACTUALLY saw the real Nuwave at the time, whenever the name came up, people referred to it as "fake cookies" rather than what it really was, just plain ole 3X (aka triple threat).
So with all that being said, Nuwave is Nuwave, it has nothing to do with GSC whatsoever. Here is the real deal Wave, enjoy....

To my knowledge, there are a couple different 3X strains made by at least 2 different breeders. One, which is a purple x og x sour cross, and the other is a purple x og x bubba cross (also known as "Triple Threat")...both which have been named 3X (or 3XCrazy) at some point. The 3X that was used in the Nuwave project was the Triple Threat 3X (the one with Bubba in it).
I won't say that I am 100% on all of this, but this what I have come to understand after spending time on here looking through Yes4Prop215's "GS Cookies" thread.

Ahh, good question! This is what that is all about...
The 3X strain that was used to make the current (and only) "Nuwave" was the one with Bubba in it, aka Triple Threat.
Now there was another 3X cut that the Bubba was replaced with Sour (2 different breeders)...that is the cut that was nicknamed "NewWave" by some. I believe this is the exact cut that Yes4Prop215 had issues with as far as it turning hermie on him out of no where.

Which goes to relation with this...

That's a completely different strain, the one you are talking about is actually just 3X (PurpxOGxSour). The only reason why it was named "NewWave" and then completely disregarded was because it was successful during Prop's first run, it didn't herm til the 2nd or 3rd run I think...that's when it went into the garbage.
I assure you...Nuwave doesn't spit...we wouldn't pump it if it did.

Yes, exactly! Sorry, but I don't know exactly what OG cut was used in the 3X project.

Sup mang i remember nuwave n new wave... it was never said to be cookies all the issues came from it being passed out labeled gsc... i had numerous batches some kushy and some u new had sour in it from 2 different sources. .. both were fire... and yes the sour one which was handed out as cooks herms with ne issue... pot to dry bam... nanners.. crack the growroom door more then once.... nanners.... over feed ur fucked.... def not a grower friendly plant... but dialed in is some top notch... now the bubba one had an incense hints replacing the sour but looks almost identical in a bag.... never grew her but if she is stable shes a winner ... 3xcrazy tripple threat 3kings nuwave
