Are plant's infected with pest's?no, after the spray they were gone, no sign so far

High all, thank you for stopping by

I have four white widows in veg. All 4 have the lowest set of leaves turning a lime greenish, maybe nitrogen def.

Im really only worried about the one in the pics, thats widow 4, the others are not showing her symptoms, she is also the smallest

she has these spots of yellow and i dont know what it is, its getting worse everyday a little. when you look under the leaves its like the spots are indented in the leaf, and around the pic 0132 the crystals on the leaf are turning yellowish also

I dont want to feed them thought cause a week or two ago they showed tiny signs of nute burn. Im sure its the ffof.

Heres the rest of them,

Im doing a little experiment with the hydroton btw

I put hydroton on top of the soil so that the soil on top stays moist longer and so the roots can grow up higher in the pot, took the hydroton out of the two on the right to see if it makes that big of a difference (i soaked the hydroton in distilled water before putting it on top)

hey!

well, judging by the photos and the information you posted i'd say it looks like lack of some nutrient. why did it happen?

you say you repotted them into fresh soil, which may be a bit strong in the beggining so they overfert a bit and there's a nutrient blockout.

you also say you haven't tested your pH. i strongly recommend you to buy something to deal with that. even those color-based test are better than nothing.
i think you should remove those balls used in hydro from the soil, as they mess with soil's pH and may be the source of your problems.

ventilation could also be the problem. if they're in a bathroom make sure there's air renewal. a fan helps move the air around the grow room, but if the air is locked inside the room it's no good.

anyway.. apart from that little problem your plants look very healthy. don't worry about it now, since you repotted them 2 days ago, just check if the problem continues in the plant's new growth.

take care

They don't look bad hippiegrower18,
Like phreakerrot said, it would be best for you to test pH of your soil and nutes.

You have some slight mag def in those spots and what looks like one leaf that's a result of getting used to the ffof soil. At this point I would water them once with @ 1/2 teaspoon of epsom salts dissolved in the water and see if they show a noticeable improvement (no more spotting).

If you have good looking new growth with no new growth looking like that one leaf, then I would begin feeding very weak pbp every second watering and go with aged tap water, or get some cal/mag plus to suppliment the feedings if you're going to stay with distilled water.

If you've ever fed them with crystal springs drinking water, then you've given them water with sodium in it.
Make sure it's distilled and not labeled "drinking water" if you feel you need to avoid your tap water.

Thanks all for the replies,

I watered them all on friday, the sick one with an extra amount of distilled water, new growth is free of problems. Im in need of a way to test the ph, planning on purchasing something soon. Gonna feed them on monday with a weak solution. If I wanted to use the tap water in my area how long should I leave it out for?

Yeah it looks like nute burn to me too. You can tell by the very dark and purple color of the healthy ones. Use plain water the next time or two.

Plants are 3 weeks old. You've gone from a 3 gallon bag to a 5 gallon pot. Plants are 8 inches tall. No nutes yet. OK
Looks like a ph lock out to me. If using tap water, not well water, let the water sit for 24 hours with an air stone in it to bubble out the chlorine.
Start seedlings in much smaller pots. Allow the roots to fill the small pot. Then up pot to a little larger pot, and so on until the root base is big enough to fill up a 5 gallon pot. What happens with putting a small plant into to large of a pot is this-the roots grow to the bottom of the pot. The plant puts it's energy into growing roots with little plant growth. In other words, it takes a long time for a 6 to 8 inch plant to fill the pot with roots and show substantial plant growth. It would seem logical that putting a small plant in a large container would be a good thing, but it actually stunts the growth until all things catch up.
For a 3 week plant, chances are there is enough stuff in the FFOF for it to be fed well enough. I use it and rarely feed until they have been in for a month +/- a week or so or until the plant tells me it needs food.
Get a bottle of CalMag for ease of use(Epsom salts is also great if you'd rather use that) I start using CalMag at 2ml/gallon of water and add more if the tops start yellowing indicating more is needed, usually 1 ml/gallon more until yellowing stops.
The water your buying has sodium in it that can cause a problem. It's like putting low doses of table salt into your pot. Use a brand without sodium in it which could also be causing your problem.
Get a ph meter. A cheapo will be fine as long as you can instantly read what the ph is of the water/nutrient solution you're feeding the plants. Personally, I like the 6.5 to 6.6 range, but everyone has their favorite range.
When you sprayed them for mites, did you do it while the lights were on above them? When spraying plants with anything, remove from under the light or spray just at lights off. The light will "burn" through the droplets left from the spray if left directly under the light causing spotting on the leaves.
When you do start using the PBP, start with 1/4 strength and see how they do. If the bottom leaves turn yellow bump it up to 1/2 strength called for on the bottle. This will keep you from burning them up with to hot of a mix.
Good luck with them.

it might be happening because the humidity is too low.. the areas of the leaf are drying out. What is ur Relative Humidity?

Has the affected leaf been sitting on the clay pebbles? Sometimes i`ve had this before the ph of the clay has stabilised.

hey everyone, thanks for the replies. I started them actually in solo cups. I transplanted them into the growbags(after about 12 days) and didn't like them much, so I put them in 12x12 pots last monday(5/18). Going to see about getting ph meter soon, for now im watering with distilled, Im going to veg them till they get to two feet or so. Also i need a hygrometer to check humidity. I looked and dont think the leaves have touched the clay balls but they are close like an inch. I sprayed for mites an hour before the lights went off. does the distilled have salt in it?

Hey guys,

Thanks for the replies, helped my plants out!

I wanted you all to know i started a grow log, its in my sig check it out
