Nuta dip Tri meters

I just ordered a nutradip tri meter and I was told that they come factory pre calibrated. What I was wondering was what are they pre calibrated at? .7 or .5 conversion? I ordered some calibration solution a while back in the wintertime, but by the time it arrived it was frozen,so I'm not a real big fan of putting too much stock in using it,and at the moment,I not exactly close to a hydro shop either. If anyone has any advice that would be great!

The three different Nutradip Tri-Meter Models differ in the way each display microsiemens, as indicated below:

202 - converts microsiemen to PPM factor (0.5)X(microsiemen)

203 - converts microsiemen to PPM (for fish) (0.675)X(microsiemen)

204 - is microsiemen factor (1.0)X(microsiemen)
A calibration solution set to 1000 microsiemen would require that you calibrate each model as follows:

Model 202 - 100

Model 203 - 135

Model 204 - 200

I apparently ordered the 202 model, so it's running a .5 conversion is what your saying then? I called the hydro shop that I ordered it from and they didn't really know what I was talking about, but if he had to guess he said go with .7 lol That really didn't sit too well with me! So when I do get calibrate it, I calibrate just as I would with a pen ,right?

Out of the slime, finally.

It is a .5 conversion. Use 1382ppm calibration solution and 4.0 and 7.0 calibration solution. Also, buy ph storage solution if you do not constantly keep the ph probe in your reservoir. Congrats, you bought the best meter. I own two and they are rock solid. Check calibration frequently and double check with a ph drop kit and all will be smooth; from experience.

Thanks rich,
Good thing I didn't go with hydro guys guess at .7 conversion! Right now I have 1000 ppm calibration solution, but like I said by the time I got it it was frozen, along with a 4 litre jug of hygrozyme! do you know if it frozen calibration solution will mess it up or not? If not I could just use that solution no?
