Number of 110v outlets in new grow room?

Constructing my new grow room in my garage. I want to get my wiring right before insulation and sheet rock. The room is going to be 8' x 9.5' x 10.5' tall.

I will be running a 20 amp 220v circuit for my 2 1000 watt HPS lights. They will run off a 40 amp water heater timer.

I will run a 20 amp 110v circuit for my 400 watt veg light, clone lights, squirrel cage fan for 400 watt, 8" max fan, 2 16" wall fans, (3-4) air pumps, 4 small water pumps, power supply for 12v fans, and what ever else i am missing. I count 15 outlets, I was planning on putting in 20-22. Does this sound right?

I will be running another wire for a future 20 amp 220v or 110v circuit for future AC, chillers, heater, and dehumidifiers.

Any tips as far as out let placement? Am I missing anything?

Back in the code I used for the test I'm pretty sure there had to be an outlet with access for 6 1/2 ft from any point in the room. This doesnt mean an outlet every 6 1/2 ft.it means wherever in that room you stand there has to be an outlet no farther away than 6 1/2 ft.

Personally, I'd install a sub-panel in the garage. That way you can wire what you need now but still have room to expand.

Is the garage detached from the house? If so, you need to run a 100 amp sub panel from the house to the garage. Even if it's attached I'd still run the sub panel and wire from that.... Check your local codes. Some will let you run a 4 wire from the main box, others want seperate ground rods for each panel....

It is detached and there is already a 100 amp sub panel installed.

I built this house with help from family and friends just last year.

I am not worried about follow code as far as having outlets 6.5' from walls and every 6.5' (or what ever crazy code ideas they currently have going). This room is in a separate storage section of the 3.5 car garage. When I am done growing or move to a different location, this room will resort to shelving and storage. I do want this to be safe and I have my electrician friend giving advice (and wiring the panel, I will do the rest) as well.
