Nugget scene @ Atlantis Resort: Bahamas

Now I've been to islands like Jamaica and been beseiged by people trying to sell weed....
Never been to the Bahamas...contemplating it.....would rather not have to bring weed with me....would rather try some decent local.
Anyone got experiences with grabing nuggets in the Bahamas from the locals? Would like to hear about it if so.

St Lucia, Eleuthera, and Antigua are my only carribean experiences...dunno if any are in the bahamas, believe Eleuthera is. Fairly easy to find herb on all 3, but only stuff I found on Eleuthera was garbage. If I remember correctly, st lucia had some really decent sativa that had me dumbstruck staring at stars and antigua stuff was decent. I didn't search by any means and I'm sure there was better to be had.

Bred born and raised in the city CITY, so I think that helps me with communicating/trusting the seemingly shady folks you'll have to go through. Usually I'd give the money to dude on bike, he'd pedal off and couple minutes later be back with my bag...not the most comforting system, but show some genuine trust and respect and you'll be rewarded.

Fuck resorts. IMO that is.

Yeah, I'd rather not have to pick up local weed either...but it's a drag bringing with me...even though I'm prolly gonna do that anyway...LOL....
I know that if you do hit the right people you can get some rather insane local weed on some of the islands...
I thought people may have a bunch of "I grabbed great weed down by the...." stories....and hopefully no: "I got robbed, beaten, stabbed, raped...etc." ones...LOL.

all you're really gonna find is tons of brown clown..... literally looks like garden mulch.

unless you venture into some of the more exclusive private communities, and know someone.

its stupid easy to get stuff over there, put it in your bag on plane, dont ship in, they open EVERY box coming into the island (taxes)

for sure. I think you'll definitely hear more good stories than bad...hopefully the worse being ripped off for a lil $$. Thing to remember is,, they know you're a tourist, they know they can probably rip you off if they want...the key is to diminish the want....if you get what I'm saying. Some of the best people in the world live in the carribbean, but there's always bad ones among the best.

I'd reccommend bring a small bit from home in case, but otherwise enjoy the local stuff. as you know it's not gonna be perfectly grown n flushed dripping in trichomes,, but to me the outdoor carribeean stuff has it's own unique appeal...if it's any good that is. somethin special bout laying on the beach smoking a fat spliff of stuff that was grown half a mile away under the same sky.

And I think you're definitely right that if you put in a little time and effort there's always better stuff to be had.

i went on a cruise a few years back.one of the stops was the bahamas,paradise island.
i went to the beach right next to the atlantis hotel.
asked a local that was selling coconut/rum drinks if any herb could be found..
he left came back and directed me towards the jet skis...were i purchased 20$ worth of some local island bud...it was pretty good,as i recall.and for 20$ they did give me alot.

even managed to get it back onto the ship.and later home.

it was easy to score...just ask the dudes who rent the jet skis..lol.

I second what luaith said and I also came across some when shopping...saw a guy selling some shirts with pot leafs...near some little ourdoor shops setup...just bought some shirts and he asked me...nice outdoor sativa for another $20

if you are actually at ATLANTIS. look for the rastas runnin the jetskis. they got the schwag.
older dudes makin necklaces with dreads to their feet, treat em with respect greet em like they are an oldtimer knowlegable rasta. they'll hook you up with the island skunk

buy a bag!! 20 30 bucks should get you a nice fat sack. saw dudes walkin on the beach selling pre rolled blunts, but one of those too, knowing it would be schwag who cares its VACATION....sure enough, but at least it wasnt mexican shwag!

I went to atlantis a while ago. I was approached by different people in the harbor area in nassau.

But anyway, why smoke when you can get high by trying the "leap of faith" in the Atlantis resort? A near-vertical slide... took me half an hour to calm my heartbeats.... Never again !

Sounds like the watersport folk have it on lockdown! I'll be sure to both bring some crippling nuggetry from home....but I'll also hit up the locals....if they look safe enough.
I'd like to feel them out for a few and catch them on the tail end of the trip.
Maybe I can shake loose some real impressive local stuff if they see that I'm not smoking the joker-schwag. I'm curing up some nice Lavender phenotype #1 for the trip....
That's a nice special gal to bring to a tropical island!

Accexx, What are you trippn mon´??? You are going to islands that got the CLIMATE to grow all these pure sativa´s, just a little selection and maybe bubblebags and you should experience highs that indoor grown hybrids just cannot offer
