Well I thought I should get this started before Karma figures that NS took
his beans and absconded to an unknown location. I don't write much of
anything down in my garden and I have a crappy memory so that makes
for fun and confusion when I'm trying to figure it all out later.
A little info about how their being grown.
Veg - 1000w mh - everything is done under it. Rooms about 7'x7'.
Flower - 2 1000w hps and one 1000w mh between them. Room - 8'x12'
Nutes - Pure Blend Pro / Cal-mag plus / Liquid Karma / Bat guano
(quit using any carbs, better plants, less bugs)
Soil - Potting soil from local nursery with beneficial bacteria amended with
about 25% perlite and couple cups of worm castings. Works great for me.
I don't ask too much from my soil, just good drainage and a nice
foundation for the roots. I'll give'em whatever else they need in the
waterings.
The Package
Germination~
Got'em on 6/09/09 and started germination on 6/11.
After 48 hrs.
After the first 7 popped it was a bit slow going after that. The 8th was
put into soil about 3 days after that. The 9th opened and had a small
tail and I planted it with the 10th bean. Not sure what happened to the
9th, just never got going. I feel I should have let the tail get a little
longer. I have better success when the tails are a 1/4" or longer so I'll
take blame on that one. The 10th just never joined the test. I'm gonna
give them a...
Germination Rate of 90%
I really believe the 9th one was gardener error, should of had that one.
The remaining 8 seem very happy...
I'll be updating this thread weekly as per the rules.
The seedlings are headed to one gallon pots this week. Oh I almost forgot
that one of the plants is a tri-foliate or whorled phylotaxy?, it just looks
like a triple header to me. It's the leeeetlest one above. She may take off
but not showing the vigor of the others. The pics below are from diff times.
And the very last one is the tri-foliate. If thats not what it is somebody
correct me.
Love the jack herer/cindy type serations in the leaves. I'd like to thank
Karma for giving me the opportunity to grow these.
More soon, NS
