No one really has ol' Northern lights. All thats really left is someones version. None of the are close to the old Nl from the 80's.
Supposed true Nl traits are low odor and stability, something the real thing never had lol! Original Nl was about potency, and crystal production, other variations wer about high complexity, or taste.

The point is that i agree with Bill for the most part about the commercial state of NL. However, there's an old version that was heavily grown (almost exclusively) in Mendo by indoor growers all through the 80's. I managed to obtain a small grip of these seeds a few years back and have passed some on to a friend here recently. We'll just have to wait and see how they do (if they sprout- they're old seeds). Sorry i can't be of immediate help to you, but it's not like i'm over here hoarding man.

my eldest girl is on day 37 flower. i got NL #5. im really happy with the way things turned out for me. although i didnt get my seeds here. i purchased my seeds from kind seed co. bc seeds. all ten germinated and of my current grow of four i have 3 females/1 male. dusted all three fems with pollen to get about 100 or so seeds. this strain of NL5 has good breedin traits. good luck with yer serch
