You should look at them in a 10x or 30x magnifier or loop. It's most likely spider mites and you will have to deal with them immediately or they well destroy your crop. What you can do for now is take your plants put them under the faucet. Wash out the under side of the leaves and then the top of the leaves. Make sure you also try and wash of any eggs too. There a little hard to see. Then go to you're grow shop / online store and order 100% Neem oil and dish soap and Neem them ASAP before they start spinning webs. Once you Neem them, wait 4-7 days and do it again then wait 7-10 days and do it again. When you Neem, don't put them under direct light until it dries or you're leaves could burn. Hopefully you don't have spider mites. Good luck

Hey Pot... you say these plants are just now sprouting?? And they already have spider mites?

Wow... I'd highly recommend, since they are new, fumigate the entire place, sterilize your equipment, etc... just bomb the shit outta the place. If it's hydro throw all your stuff in hot bleach water... I mean really clean up. For you to have spider mites at early sprouting of seedlings that means you were working in an already dirty environment for these things to come in that quick...

Spider mites are like lice on a kid in kindergarten... an absolute nightmare.

Good luck!

Here's a quote for you from Ed Rosenthal's book, "Marijuana Growers Handbook".
"Mites are very small, measuring only 3-6 thousandths of an inch. They look like small dots colored black, red or brown."

I do have a few spider mites lingering around, and from my eyes without using my diamond loop, they look black. I'm Neeming them tomorrow though and i've finally learned to live with them from time to time. They have destroyed me in the past but I could never control them until I found Neem.

Yup - trust us when we say.... If you see a spec of dirt MOVING around on your ladies, you have the dreaded lice plague written in the scrolls by the old wise ones.

You got em chief. Either that, or you have the smallest spirits possessing dirt molecules I think I've ever heard of.... ;)

Can I use that line please....?

It sure sounds like the spider mite to me, and I have had them many times.

Here is the hilarious part though.

I usually did the heavy miticide spray every few days until under control until someone here suggested "HOTSHOT NO PEST STRIP"

I hung them above plants in my VEG CAB and in my FLOWER CAB and they were gone in a few days.

GONE GONE GONE.

And I WAS using Ortho Orthene Systemic Spray before that and it worked , but the STRIPS wiped them out completely.

I used 2 or 3 strips for 5 x 10 foot areas.

Good luck.

Mites are one of the few pests in which an all out, Thermo-Nuclear type strike seems warranted to me.
