not another blasted water-cooling post

hello all...i see the water cooling posts pop up every now and then but rarely see any actual working models.....i have been playing with water cooling for about 6 years. I am working on a new one that has no reservior and works on a hybrid air/water cooling system. I will be building and testing this model here but it may take a while to get it up and running! for starters here are some older models. These were for non cannabis applications but you can get an idea of what i have been playing with! I want to see other DIY water cooling models and some specs!

with the model posted i was getting temps of about 90 degrees three inches from a 250 watt hqi. hqi's have no large envelopes of glass. These temps were achieved with a total volume of less than one gallon with continual circulation, a radiator and fans.

Ha reminds me of when I was looking into watercooling for my pc. Is that tubing just rapped around the light bulb? Doesn't it heat up enough to melt it if say the water pump fails? I've seen one water cooling setup before and it used a glass envelope that went over the bulb. Basically it was two cylindrical tubes connected to each other to allow water to flow through them without the water coming in contact with the bulb.

that is actually a high temperature transparent teflon...after this one i started placing the bulb in a glass sleeve with direct glass to water, and that worked very well but there was a noticeable spectral shift in the light quality...
