Not Another Best Strain Thread: Unique Highs

WHAT IS THE MOST UNIQUE BUD YOU HAVE SMOKED? AS IN GIVING YOU A TYPE OF HIGH YOU'VE NEVER HAD, MORE THAN JUST INDICA/SATIVA RATIOS, I WANT TO HEAR EXPERIENCES.

A blueberry smoke report really got me thinking. I love it when weed bends my mind, and makes me imagine universes, or modifications of reality, or even just think of crazy shit. Like last time i smoked some regular stuff, just surprised the hell out of me. I had the wierdest thoughts and visions. The cars nearby looked like cartoony trains, and the sunny day became a thunderstorm.. racing trains.. COOOL..

Anyways.. thats just an example of what I mean.

Me and my friend, got high in our backwoods one day. It was just like anyother day, acept it was so dreamy, the weather was or seemed perfect. The wind was just magical. It all seemed like a lucid dream really. It was so pleasent and ambient. Like those old dawsons creek episodes, or some movie that uses alot of ambient lighting for there scenes. Light effects* that you really* only see on a misty suny* day. Like the whole general area is lit up in a small way. Ambient.

Maybe it wasn't the weed, maybe it was. It was just the regular shit weed we smoked. It could have been the setup, the way the experiance came about.

The shit weed we smoked to the best of my recallection was a nice hybrid. Usually is was more on the Lazy Indica side. Its possible that these very commercial plants had a sativa pheno, but that explanation seems overly simple. I suspect it was just picked early to just right. Since everyone seems to be staying away from Sativas lately, i suspect its mostly indica.

Most unique high? The first couple times I smoked weed. It was probably just mexican schwag, but it got me BLAZED. Other than that, probably trainwreck. Haven't had the opportunity to smoke too many strains(kali mist is 2 weeks flowering), but the wreck, juicy fruit, and a kush. The trainwreck got me back to the "dude...we're stoned" frame of mind that I hadn't had in years. And it stunk up the apartment too.

I haven't really smoked too many strains (not yet!) but the ones I have smoked that had unique highs were Diamond Head and AK48. The DH had a nice mellow high. It was a perfect daytime smoke. When I smoked it she always put me in the mood to do something creative or just take a walk in the woods. Not really that potent but a nice overall high. The AK48 was alot more potent but had a better taste. The high on this strain was very stupifying. I smoked a joint by myself and I was almost tripping. It was half and half heady and body. Part of it made me want to do shit but I was too stoned to do anything. I think it's more a late night smoke when watching a movie and then pass out. I couldn't really function doing something on the AK.

For about a fortnight as I began smoking this Jack Herer I've got now my friend would pick me up for work and I'd be halfway through writing a song. It seemed the first smoke of the day and I would think in rhyme some of the imagery etc powerful enough to have me writing it down.

Many many years ago we smoked some imported colombian gold and we hallucinated heavily off the first smoke of it. Closed my eyes and the shed was up in the clouds with Pirate ships drifting in and out of them. Hows that for a cool hallucination.

And Sex. I know it aint just me I've had a smoke report from another... Aqua weed makes sex seem like everything's being done in slow motion soft focus and veeery erotic. It even vaselines the lens

I wrote 'bout this one on OG last winter (thread Psycho mexican strains or something like that).
It was in the year '97. Some guy came back from New York and brought with him some "special mexican" seeds. We (my growers clique) didn't knew the actual strain, but he said that it's a killer and it can perform well outdoors in our climate. My friend germinated 5 seeds (3 female). The plants were monsters, not that much in height (aprox. 2,5-3m), but in the size of the buds (some of 'em big as a mans forearm and heavy as a... they simply couldn't stand upright) and in the size of leaves (some had 30 or more centimeters from base to top of the median leaflet). Much more monstruous than we've ever seen in the usualy grown Durban Poison.
In the early october (it was kinda warm year, but it was early for such sativa anyway). We've all expected good smoke, but this was like your brain drives a fast train, crushing every previous thought. A few puffs and you're history. It was very difficult sometimes even to tell which side is left and which is right, not to mention streets moving in different angles (it was a tough task to cross the street). I had some hallucination from some other weed before that, but this was very vivid. I've been seeing things like, more limbs on a person than it should be, familiar faces in completly strange ones, two moons (i'm sure there was two of 'em, unless i was under the influence of the film "Dune"), ornamentals jumping outa table cloth...
I had audial hallucinations to. Hm, i'm still not sure if it was a hallu, but, once i've heard noise of industrial machines sampled in the Lou Reed's song from "Lost Highway" soundtrack (i cann't remember the title). Everybody were like, "Lou Reed sampling? That's a news" and started laughing at me.
We've called the strain "Kec" (serbian for "The Ace") or "6 on 6", 'cos it was enough one joint for 6 people to get high constantly for 6 hours. It came in vawes: first, the strongest and most tripiest vawe held for 2-3 hours and than it let you go, but it's been returning several times with somewhat weaker intensity.
Once a two of us tryied to smoke as much as possible just to see the effect. We've quit at the 2/3 of the joint, it was enough. I simply could not describe all that jumped around my mind but i just remember that we've both made a conclusion: Led Zeppelin (we've beeen listening at the moment) is the best band in the world! And we've been very much into techno, industrial and that kind of music in that period of our lives.
Who knows, it maybe wasn't a pure sativa, but some mexican landrace crossed with some indica (very heavy resin, early maturation and a bit more compact stature on one side, and long, thin leaves, sativa branchy and defenetly most genious high on the other).
We smoked it all winter and good part of next spring untill my friend got busted and around 600 grams seized (only like 50g was left hidden). He got away with 2 years on parole and all his money-for-the-bad-days gone to the lawyers. Sometimes it seemed like there will always be a good suply of it, but, i guess, cops enjoyed smoking it afterwards.
