right on fellas.... the temps run cool only during the day when the lights are off... ill take reading cuz i haven't done that in awhile... she isn't much of a yielder but the trich coverage is crazy... i vegged for 2 weeks also, im at day 49 of flower... as for the smell, as soon as u step into the basement u can already tell someones got some dank bud lol... be safe

i only use a 150w HPS and 2 100w CFLs

hey thanks for chiming in, any idea on the OFF temps in your grow area? just curious, wondering if the purpling is phenotype specific, or temperature..i'd bet temperature,

id say its temp because in most of my grows i will get some purple... but ill put up the off temps later on for you... if i can find my temp meter

The NL is finished... not a great yielder but it is some knock out bud... exactly what i was looking for... the smoke is smooth and after handling the bud, my fingers smell like cantaloupe ...

Maybe next time you should try vegging a little longer but lst them, these nl can take some abuse. I managed to get 6 main colas, and about 1.25 oz in dry weight. Like you I was a little disappointed with the yield. But it is indeed some fine smoke. Enjoy your harvest!

what kind of light do you use. NL is a great strain with rock hard nugs. Your colas look a little airy, like maybe they could of beefed up longer. But with the trichs the way you say...I guess she was done.

I have no problem getting 2oz from an NL under a 400hps. Trying to reach 3oz...but I hate vegging any longer.

If you afford to handle the extra heat...then invest in a 600 instead. Huge difference over a 400.

suburbanhomeboy - heat is what i would be worried about... i read somewhere 600w hps are more efficient than a 1000w... ive been looking at prices and the difference between the 400 and 600 isn't much at all

there was one pheno that really stood out. It was extra frosty. i think it is pic 1,2 and 4.
they were both good but the one that took less time to finish was the keeper. too bad i wasn't into cloning then.
the grapefruit is good smoke, tastes and smells good. looks great. it's lackin in potency if you ask me but everyone that tried it said it was worthy smoke, so i guess its not that bad.
have you tried anything else by female seeds?
