Northern California outdoor 2014

Pullin up a seat and some OG for the ride! :lurk:

And some new genetics for next year! Got some fresh beans in hand... Serious 6, Biddy Early, and Purple Star are all going to be gracing the outdoor garden next year, along with the tried and true Pineapple cut that we've had for over a decade now. :dance013:
We might even do a little pollen chucking just for gits and shiggles.

Just picked up some pineapple kush seeds, never ran anything like it before. Ran skunks and ran variety of kush but not a pineapple pheno.

Some items I want to touch on:
Worm bins
recycling/amending/overwintering soil
strain selection, pheno hunting
timing cuts, transplants and planting-out
organic fertilizing and pest control
and all the day to day that this garden goes through.

Gracias. Have it running over on my indoor page in my signature. Put some shots from it last year outdoor on that page. Beastly lady, amazing yield/flavor/smell/smoke. I'd give it a 9/10 or A-. Tweak my handling of it to bring out more.

Thanks for stopping in.

Love living it!

Started first round of seeds for outdoors. Yes I like to have all or most outdoors from seed. Will insert clones in smaller container/greater numbers between july and september.

Schedule:
May- Greenhouse with supplemental lights
June- Plant big pots.
July-Sept- plant out smaller pots (5-15G)

We just rooted some Cannatonic clones (thank you Love ;)) for an early spring depo run. Never done a high CBD strain before. I am super excited to try it.

Mendo Coast (707) :D You can hear the ocean from my house. Makes it a bitch to grow good outs cause of all the fog, but hey everyone loves a challenge, right?

So you're in wine country... u in the valley?

North sonoma county. I can smell the ocean on most days from my grow property. Great limits here. 100 sqft/30 plants. Outdoors o
comes out to a card a plant and two to cover inside veg and moms.

I was thinking bout doing a spring run too. Mini green house run it February to May. Could of this last year it was so warm. May help stave off the plant out fever. Can add little supplemental heat and light in February and March when needed.

You mostly run indica dominate stuff?

You still have the tangerines dream? Have a plant with a tangerine dream parent, would love to see it on its own.

Thanks for the kind words, I'll get a smoke report and see what kind of bud shots my camera will take off the BCS. Just need to get up and have my coffee and hash then we'll be in business. Any photographic advice for plants?

We run a little of everything. Pineapple is our main outdoor variety though. It's a sativa/indica mix (75/25) that finishes early and does great in cooler climates. Supplemental heat is key when running early spring blooms.

Sorry for the absence...newborn, holidays, etc...youvknow the drill. But since I've been gone:

Brewed two batches of beer: Dubbel and IPA (calling it Quiver Chin after my little lady)
-Means I had forty+ pounds of grain for my worms.
---Split my one thirty-gallon tote of worms into that plus five five-gallon buckets. Layered each with leafs, spent grains from brewing (want to mix in so they/ don't become anerobic), shredded paper, and worm/soil from original bin.
-Letting them work for a couple weeks then I'll start brewing tea with them again.

All soil is mixed, resting for the season, have three raised beds filled, about twenty yards worth. Will fill my pots next month(100 gallon SPs), and start feeding them in march with ACT every month. Plants out in them come June.
**Also want to run greenhouse grow from February to May**
---Which will have Chemdawg ran in it, short enough flower time with least mold worries for GH during spring. We shall see. Will be nine plants in a six foot x six foot GH. Supplemental light/heat beginning, light dep at end to ensure finish.

Indoor is going well sprouting lots of seeds:
-From my kush explorations:
Ken's Kush
Grapefruit
Trinity Kush
Cold Creek Kush
OG
Pineapple Kush

Others for the season:
Trainwreck
Bubblegum
Arjan haze#1
BCSxNocturnal
BCSxAfghani
OGxAfghani

Hope all is well!!! Be around.

Love Living It!!
