Northern Berry (Peak seeds)

This summer i grew 8 plants (half northern berry and half northern lights) from peak seeds. Unfortionately only two females survived through harvest one which was a very small northern lights (planted late) and a good sized northern berry plant. This report is on the northern berry. It tasted piney with a very small hint of blueberry. It had many solid branches at harvest yielding me about 2 oz. dry. Very crystally. It smelt very nice. The high you got from it wasnt a couch lock but wasnt a pure sativa high either (somewhere in between). Everybody who i smoked it with wanted to buy some right then and there but too bad for them cuz i dont sell my heady. Some of the people even went as far to say it was the best stuff they had smoked. The only problem i experienced was tiny amount of mold or bud rot or something that appeared a day before harvest but it wasnt that much. I would deffinately grow this strain again.

Northernberry is a strain that I'd love to add to my collection at some point. Thanks for the report Greenthumbz. I started out growing outdoors, but have moved indoors for the long haul now, and a steady flow of fresh buds. Good luck this next year on your next outdoor run.

Peak Seeds are great. I have the NorthernBerry,SkunkBerry and NorthernSkunk in my seed collection. It will be spring/summer before I get to them, but have high hopes and have heard nothing but good reviews of these guys. Blueberry can be kind of semi-finicky, but the NL and Skunk really smooth out the grow.....for sure go for it....good genetics.

I'm on my second indoor grow of NorthernBerry, (organic hydro) having obtained the seeds from Peak last spring. Easy to grow and clone, good yield, and like greenthumb says, a very pleasant high. Good for social occasions as it inspires conversation. :p

I've got a couple pics of one of my current NB gals in my gallery. For some reason I can't post pics in threads, and we haven't figuried out why yet, but if you'd like to check out the NB, feel free to stop by my gallery. :)

I got my northern berry from a grower down state and I have not been displeased. It's a very easy strain to grow with nice high. The people here say it's an emotional or sentimental high. It has a dense closely grouped node pattern and clones easily. Going to try getting some female pollen from it and hopefully will get some S1 seeds out of it.

Probably will find some very interesting plants in those S1's. All of his breeding stock is pretty true breeding, so it should behave a lot like an F2.

Good luck on the hunt. I love his work as well. Don't sleep on his Skunk. It's probably the strongest thing in his stable.
