....... i know ron paul is supposed to be different and all, but i just don't see it. he's apart of the same river of shit.

Hello all,

I have to disagree....RP is clearly cut from a different clothe.

What has me excited about him is this appartent seperation from the rest of the crowd.

I love his strict constitutional views. His foriegn policy plan is brilliant...stay the **** out of other nations affairs.

If elected, little will be accomplished because I predict both parties in both houses will be all buttsore and will not work with him. His reformation plan has the political elite shaking...they are worried the status quo will change for them (as well they should).

These are just my thoughts.

, I don’t want you or anyone else voting on what I can and cannot do with my own body. It’s not your property its mine.

Just like no one should be voting on who should be able marry and who shouldn't when its none of your damn bussiness in the first place.

i agree. but at least under the constitution your state has a chance to vote and pass a bill for gay marige, unlike now the FEDERAL GOV. bans it. what else do they ban? how much more are we gonna let them take from us?

i'm not on a patriotic high horse. like i said before i've never voted, so i don't fall into that percentile. i've heard a message i agree with, and decided to vote for the first time. i stated an opinion, my previose statement wasn't directed at you, just my opinion. you have yours and i have mine. we'll have to agree to disagree.

i'm glad you support your community, we need more people like that in this world.

I thought several states already said "no" and even make legal statutes that prohibit a national id...

Did they or didn't they?

We may have to truly defend our rights with arms if need be... that is the last thing an American, like me, would have thought growing up in this country for the last 30+ years.

All great civilizations cease to exist, and much of that is directly due to the mismanagement of the "governing" body. No great civilization is beyond this. Last time I checked we did elect an "emporer" or "czar" or "caesar"; however, it looks more and more like that is what our government has become. Our elected officials have no backbone, they don't represent the citizens, and we know this. Where do we turn? The only choices we are given are the "rich" who are lost, or who want control. Rockefeller tried to pass laws against individuals harvesting rain water or water off their own property--or so I read about water rights. These individuals must GO! It sucks, but, that is the way it is.

On another note, I think our government is misjudging our military... all except the most brainwashed individuals will not fire upon US citizens wanting to be free. This is not 1940's gung ho fighters, but people looking for a job in order to pay for school, or whatever.

IF the federal government believes they can cut all funding and deny citizens the right to travel, etc., as is proposed, Cessation, I believe it is called will be welcomed by me. Not just one state, but many will unite and leave the Fktd UP United States to live in the world of terror they created. It may have to come to that in reality. If those states that refuse to bow down before big brother, what do you think will happen.

Do you honestly believe the citizens in those states that agree with BB will actually want other citizens to leave the union? No, I don't... it is the elected officials that make deals behind closed doors and that misrepresent their "people" ... those spineless lost sheep have failed us all.

OUR governing body has indeed committed treason of the highest order against the constitution and the people and should be brought before the citizens to explain their actions and justify them as well. Terrorism my ass. 9/11 happened because our government let it happen. The DHS was too easily brought forth and excepted... why? Because it was already planned. This 9/11 would be the best if our "friends" (not really, but, the enemy of my enemy is my friend) take good care of the ones who, indeed, bring terror and confusion to us all, and the world.

I never thought I would see the disintegration of the US, but we are all faced with it... look at history, no great nation carries on without the consent of its citizens (NONE survive today). Yes, many factors play into collapse, but, WE THE PEOPLE have yet to act accordingly to get the freedom we were promised back into our hands. If you must, vote for cessation. Who gives a shit. My FED gov has done little or nothing for me except make me look like a shithead to most of the world.

Sorry for that, but, it makes me sick, and sad that we have to even discuss the subject. Does anyone have any ideas on how to rectify the situation of our governing body? How, what choices do we really have? Spineless Politicians, or corrupt ones, or liars, cheats and thieves...what do we do? What will we do? The FED does not keep the citizens informed purposely.

Peace... an editorial I know... again, I am sorry, but more so for those who do not speak out.

ONE MORE NOTE: There is nothing wrong with the current system, or pre-9/11 system. Terrorism??? WTF. Bush, so long as he lives, will be a threat to freedom, that terrifies me. Shit, I better go before I get worked up

some of you people are way too damn paranoid, a free trade agreement is alot different than giving up our sovereignty, and besides that, any agreement would have to be passed by the senate, and anything that made major changes to our currency wouldn't pass. i just don't get why most americans ore so isolationist, its as if they one, don't consider non americans to be people, and two, have absolutely no understanding of the way world economics work

I don't understand how your world economics work, obviously... I see it as the rich and powerful that dictate most of the policies in the US having control over most of the land mass, and more resources as not a good thing.

There is nothing wrong with the world economic structure as it exists, other than the fact that, again, it is controlled by a few, or few thousand, WTF difference does that make... 1 or 1000.... You haven't noticed any negative changes since 2001?

For me, non americans, are people just as americans are people, but when my gov gives preferential treatment to non citizens in this country where i live and pay taxes isn't quite right. I don't give a shit what you look like or where you are from so long as you are a decent person.

Peace... I hope you are right, but better to be prepared in case you are not.

you need to check out the CFR(council on foriegn relations), NAU(north american union), and the SPP. then see if we are paranoid. under the SPP witch by the way BUSH has signed agreement WITHOUT congress or senate, is in direct conflict with the constitution, you know that thing our country was founded on. look at some of the quotes from the president of the CFR. youtbe/cfr will get you on the right track as far as links, or check out there webpage, you'll see.
