This is a Bubba Kush Auto from Humbold Seed Organisation that I have going at the moment. She is outdoors in native soil ( Southern Hemisphere).
Put in soil about 3 weeks ago, as you can tell she didnt grow a whole lot since then :dunno:
Had a big storm passing through for few days in week 1. Heavy rain and strong wind.

Sorry for the links but the uploader does not work from
my phone.

So question is: Is this rate of growth normal? It seems pretty slow to me...
Also: Is the big gap between the round leaves and first true leaves a sign of not quite enough light?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!! :tiphat:

Its not cold. Night temps dont go below 10-15C (50-55F). The soil wasnt prepared at all. just straight into native soil. The surrounding vegetaion is thriving though and the region is known for its vertile soil.
However light could be the problem... The plant isnt under a clearing or anything. There are a few trees around it bun the canopy is not too dense.

surrounding vegetation (plant inside the chickenwire cage): https://www.dropbox.com/s/jmcb8v2d36009wi/Foto 21.12.14 14 26 36.png?dl=0

In case your wondering why I would choose such a spot: I prepared 4 holes where I planted 4 seeds but they all died. I had one sprouted seed left and I didnt wanna waste it so I just popped it in the ground somewhere. Now its the only one I have left...

OK thanks for the info but there has to be something else wrong here...
Could it be the light? Maybe I could still dig her up put her somewhere with more light..?

The seedling was stunted from transplanting too early outside without any protection from the elements. A mature plant can endure much more stress than a baby plant, just like humans. I've found that I get most success from letting plants grow to about 10'' tall in beer cups before transplanting outdoors - and the bigger you let them get before this point the better the transition will be. If seedlings aren't able to be transported, at least put a clear cup over them upon transplanting to block them from the cold/wind/rain for the first month. Poke holes in the cup to allow for air flow... but I'd wait til they're more mature before introducing them into the harsh outdoors next time. The plant pictured is as good as dead; stress this early in the life cycle is detrimental to growth, vigor, and especially final yield.
