Hi Guys, as of Prop 19 I've taken an interest in real estate in Humboldt County and other parts of Nor Cal particular to the Emerald Triangle and the Industry...
I am wondering - How safe is it to operate a grow ranch/plantation? Could cartels like raid your house with guns and kill you and your family? I think it's always possible. Just wondering how secure and safe it is to grow commercially outdoor? I always hear the word 'murder' with 'marijuana' in the dispensaries..Essentially carrying raw herbs with you is like carrying cash (no serial numbers and no trace) so its a target for robbers. Would you have to hire a security guard 24/7 for your property? Cameras, violent/aggressive pitbulls, rotweilers, etc?

I mean Jesus dude it seems like people will murder two people over $250,000 these days... I don't see why they wouldn't kill you and your family? Maybe leasing a warehouse with security measures is less dangerous - then just use your Mendo property to live on and grow persies?
