Non-sponsor review threads prohibited?

Started a thread about getting feedback on sprung bags as the original (are bubblebags goretex?) thread with pertinent info was closed. My thread was deleted..

I know bubbleman is a great sponsor for this site and asset to the community but does that equate to not allowing threads about competitor's products? Against TOU?

Just wondering why it was deleted, not trying to stir the pot.

It was prolly closed from what other ppl were doing, bickering etc.....

Gypsy was in chat before and he mentioned somethin along the lines of Seedbay/boutique picking up the Sprung bags.

I see a reason to give the PAYING advertisers first pick of the buyers. Why pay money to advertise if other companies can just get people to write "Review" threads.

Hey I can't disagree Gypsy has a business to run and advertising helps keep this place going! I never direct linked, etc, and tried my best to keep things 'non spam'... don't think there should be a problem with user reviews, etc.. but that's up to Gypsy.

I've contacted Skip regarding advertising... thanks to all for your support and thanks to Gypsy for the great site among many other things.

We have a vendor review area where ppl can discuss vendors & products without having to create threads in the forums. Please use that area to post up comments and reviews. Anyone can post up a review (except new members)
