Nah I think many people still do it. 
But maybe everything has been said and shown already? And hence there are less new reports.
Because to be honest: outdoor game hasn’t changed much, has it? It’s not like indoors where there are new technologies every few years (like lights/led).

I got no assholes living near me but in the conservative ass SouthEast state I'm in, they take your fucking _house_ if you get busted for more than like a pound or two of cannabis... a trafficing offense.
I just got through tossing a pound or two of a fan leaves in the compost bin, cuz I'm thinning at mid-flower, and they count them and stalks/branches too.

I remember folks in Kansas doing Screens of green and getting high plant counts because theythey count them and stalks/branches too.
counted each bud site as a plant
