No taste no smell...

New grower first batch from bag seed. Flowering in their 12th week but they have very little smee and not much taste. The high is a creeper and getting better evey time I take samples. What can I do to get more flavor? It seemd like they are still growing, one I know for sure is. She is constantly reaching for the light (1ooow) I could use some advise and is it normal for them to go 12 or more weeks in flower?

Really, everything that you are asking is strain related. The low odor should be considered a blessing in my opinion. Also, length of flowering is really strain dependent, but sounds like it may be sativa leaning. Do you have a scope to take a close up look at the trichs? That should be your major indicator of readiness. Your cure should bring out some of those flavors for you. Also, many believe that blackstrap molasses increases flavor if used (1-2 tbs/gallon of water) in that last few weeks of flower, but I haven't noticed a flavor difference when using it (but I like using molasses for other benefits).

you got a winner . make seeds ,use cs. low odor can be a good thing as long as the thc is there. everything i got reeks a low odor strain with potency would be nice. we spend alot of money having to keep smell in check. consider yourself lucky . most peeps post the opposite . like, my weed is smelling up my whole house what can i do ? lol

it could be a hybrid indy\sat. which can take longer to flower and sats stink less than indys early on .IMHO

unfortunately for me i have never had a "low odor" strain and no taste strain be very potent. Even when they look kind of frosty. I have had a few decent strain where odor was not too strong but ive found the stongest(potenty) tastiest strains to be incredible stinky and very tastey. The "hay" strains do not impress me. If its bagseed you just cant know. In your next run i suggest you get cuttings or known seeds. All that time spent is worth a few bucks for the right genetics. You can throw whatever you want at a non smelly non tastey strain but it will still have little taste and little potency

my favs and they all stunk
chemdog from rez
sour diesel
dj's bb
cheese
super lemon haze

Smelly unfortunately you've hit right on what I've been tossin round in the back om my mind. The lastest cutting I've taken jhave a little more tast and smell but not what i would expect. I have one palnt with huge colas that seems to be the stickiest and stinkiest. think I'm gunna take one planet in the next coupel fo day and then rest not to far inthe near future, I chose those seeds cause they came from some kick ass pretty commerical bud probably mexica. I currently have 2 Pineallpe Express and 3 Juicy Chronic that I jst popped and are about 3' in still; in the dixie cups. They are gunna be my first real run. Coco in 3 gal hempys. In perilite/vermiculite hempsy right now but like the coco better.

Not bad at all, nice plant man.About the smell,it's strain dependant, your using bagseed,so its not the BEST genetics to grow..the strain it came from probably did not smell either. You seem like you got the growing down, mighth I suggest you buy some loq cost seeds for your next grow.Fill up that canopy,a 1000 hps can handle more plants man.

Mighth I suggest Mandala..really great genetics,really great price..or Nirvana..Cannacopia.
