No smell grow

B

Blunted22

Hey guys im getting a security monitroign service installed in my house and im worried about the cops being called to my house when im not home going through my house and smelling the grow. Im sure they wont find it but i wsas wondering how many people can COMPLETELY cover up the smell of thier grow.

Im mean COMPLETELY. If you had your nose next to the wall it was behind and was trying to smell it. If anyone does can you please give an explination on how you accomplished this? Thanks for any help on the subject guys.

In my oppinion it's hard to achieve negative air pressure unless you're growing in a cab...

I don't understand how that would work for a actual room

Same way it works in a cab - more air going out than in.

You'll know you have negative pressure in a room if you'll light a joint, cig, match, whatever smokes, and hold it near the crack under the door. If the smoke goes into tyhe crack, you've got neg pressure. If it moves away, you have positive flow, and that's a bad thing.

Very easy to achieve, and almost any room with a dedicated extraction fan is going to be neg pressure.

Use a carbon filter and maintain negative air pressure inside the grow.

but honestly unless this grow is a seceret room your alarm gose off cops will search every where including attick when they show up on scene. trust me they will leave nothing unturned or not looked at or into. remember the alarm went off calling them on scene !!

Seal off the area you're going to use, and create negative pressure in there.

I'm currently in a large two and a half car garage, but I'm not using near the whole thing. So, I cut the garage in two with plain black poly, to create an air barrier. Not strictly necessary, but it does help isolate the heat you're exhausting from being drawn back in.

The pods themselves are made from panda poly. They're on one side of the poly wall, and the filter/exhaust is on the other. My pods have negative pressure, which means no air from inside the pod leaves by any other means than through the filter.

As stated before, the extra poly wall just keeps the pods from drawing the warm exhaust air back inside.

So, take some poly, seal off the area of your attic you'll be growing in, and hook up your exhaust and scrubber. Make sure you have neg pressure in the area the plants are in (poly actually helps with this, you'll see the poly suck in) and you're good to go!

Regular poly from Home depot or WalMart, in the paint section; Panda poly from a hydro store - some folks say they can get panda poly from Home Depots in their area, but mine has never had it.
