No calyx, leaf instead?

Farmer:
What up farmers. I cracked a bean that was gifted to me. Its almost two months old. Looks healthy and pest free. I noticed that where the branches start of the main stem, and a calyx, or balls should be, there is a tiny leaf there? Is that normal? Should I get rid of it?

Sounds like they are not sexually mature yet. Usually will be at 2 months but you could of stunted the plant with intentional or unintentional high stress.
