Smoke report for nl#5 from highgrade-seeds. This was an organic grow in a 2 gallon container, MG Organic Garden soil with 10% perlite. Soil mix ed with 2 tbps MG Organic bone meal and 2 tbps dolomite. The nute used was a molasses/MG bone meal tea. Pulled in 35 grams from a 78w cfl setup(3 26w). Was a micro grow, here's the link for the interested.

I've been pretty limited to bagweed sativas, so take this review with a grain of salt. Found this to be a very powerful smoke, sit you down in the chair or on the couch. I harvested with the 1st appearance of amber trics, to try to prevent totally disabling smoke. Able to puff in the afternoon, and not sack out, so seems to have come in where I wanted. I'd give it a 9(out of 10) for potency. No expert on indica's so judge as you will.

Bud cure odor was straight up pine, strong pine, and quite nice. Puffed through the DIY halogen vaporizer with excellent results. Flavor of pine flavored steam. A creeper/builder of a stone, very strong. Just keeps building and building for close to an hour. 3+ hours of a strong buzz, reached out to 5+ hours and was still fairly stoned. This could easily be a overwhelming smoke for some people. But the 'clean feeling' of the high really stood out. Not a single negative feature, no dry eyes, throat, or mouth. This may be from vaporizing, which I'm new to. The organic grow may have helped too. The actual bud was just a tiny popcorn that didn't seem worth while to cure. So the cured potency may be higher.

On the medical side, I'd judge it to have moderate pain relief. The low amber may be a part of that. May be good for those with anxiety, no racy thoughts. No paranoia for me anyways. And sleep in the evening did seem much nicer. I'd give a 'thumbs up' for help in sleep.

Sounds like a great effect. I like that it give no racy thoughts yet OTOH I'm wondering how much of the sativa experience goes along with those racy thoughts and if I would find a pure indica less stimulating.

thnx for the looks, she was a pretty sweet grow
on the sativa/indica and racy thoughts - i've had many a sativa over the years of various stripes - some can affect me poorly with the raciness - never outright paranoia attack, but some were much better than others on this score
i have seen a few indica strains that seem to have a bit of reputation for a bit too 'thought racing', but much less common

been a couple of months, little update on weed character

doesn't seem to be much tolerance build, still very strong
probably don't smoke more than a gram every 2 weeks, wicked kick from a vaporizer
it does give more of a head rush than i care for, but i did pick with little amber so i was prepared for that i guess
did build up some tolerance so not as disorienting
but more amber likely would have been better, it does have a pretty good body, but more would be better

It's funny...I was looking at your pictures and laughing...so many of the newbies here would be asking what's wrong with their plant and how they can FIX those yellowing leaves!

Nice job...
