Nitrogen In Flower- One Time Feeding OK?

Hey all.

Got a quick question for ya. I fed my 2 Northern LightsxShiva (Day 14 Flower) this past Friday with a full strength dose of Master Thai's Organic Recipe(High-P Guano, Maxicrop, and Earthworm Casting) and they are looking a little low on Nitrogen, and plus they havent had much to begin with.

Do you think it would be ok to feed them today with a one time full dose of FF GrowBig just to get them some Nitrogen before the heavy flowering starts?

Thanks, and all help is very appreciated.

I don't stop giving nitrogen until the last three or four weeks of flowering. You can reduce the nitrogen during flowering but not until the stretching stops IMO. After the second week of flowering I go to an N-P-K ratio if 1-3-2.

This is something I've been thinking about too.

I manage over 165 gallons of organic soil in a planter box type room.

I feel fine feeding the soil more fish emulsion although I use way less then before.

I apply a layer of feeding materials and water then liquid mix of fish emulsion, kelp, coffee and what not.

Seems to be just the thing to provide bloom boost.

So I say yes but I feed the soil.

Well Jack my friend, they always did say to "water the soil, not the plant!" Thanks for your input and wow, 165 gallons huh, how many ladies are we lookin at there?

I went ahead and just fed them my Veg Tea Formula, half strength on the PSG, as it is very strong in my opinion.

1 1/2 Tbs High-N Peruvian Seabird Guano 10-10-2
1 tsp. Maxicrop Kelp
1 Tbs Blackstrap molasses
1 oz Worm Casting Tea

I guess we will see what happens.......

You can put some N in your early flowering watering regimes. However, once you get later into the stages you will not want much yellowing is welcomed. Too much N and you will have a harsher smoke than you might have with a plant that was hungry for some N. Your tea mix looks mild enough and shouldn't cause you any problems.

Happy Toking :bandit:

I throw this out as food for thought.

Should we feed some nitrogen to the microherd on a regular basis?

I feed bone meal as a tea and as a feeding layer so I wonder is a small amount of say fish emulsion is a good thing vrs a bad one.

i do it, as flower goes on though each tea gets less and less. you want them to be green but not dark veg green. burnone said it pretty much stoping at 3-4 weeks before.

kush07 thats where you give it a good long cure comes into play for that sweet sweet smooth smoke.
