Nirvanas motherfuckin Afghani

Did anybody of you have germing problems with the Afghanis from Nirvana? Out of ten beans in one fucking week only one germed and died directly for no obvious reason. all other beans i've put out germed. Also all of the AK48's.
Is there anything special about germing them or did i just get a crappy pack?

might have been old seeds. I got some freebie seeds once called shagadelic. 2 packs of them bastids not one even cracked outta 20. I even tried the paper towel after soak method, tried straight into soil, into rapid rooters, nothing worked., I think those must have been the worst seeds i have ever had that includes shwagbag seed.. anyhow everything else from there was just dandy.. prolly bad old seeds.. peace..

Not one in 10 did anything
I would stay away from Nirv. for a while- they seem to sell old seeds at the moment- getting them out and then raise prices.(IMO)
But I have grown several strains before - and no prob.
But the last 3 strains HK, NL/Shiva and NL all had baaaad germ rates.

I had really good germ rates from my Nirvana Hindu Kush. Can't remember..but I think I got 8/10 or so. Too bad they were almost all males. If I remember correctly, Nirvana's seed storage isn't the greatest, but that's just hearsay.

I've always had very good germ rates with Nirvana and I've grown ot a lot of their strains, many packs of Afghani, but last grow of that was about 6 years ago so don;t know if things have changed. KC Brain's Afghani Special is a better strain imho, grows more vigourously, gets bigger and more potent, oh, and it has more of an old school hashy taste. I only grew the Nirvana and KC outdoors.

i just harvested a nirvana afghani and i gotta say, i wasnt excited with its growth but the smoke is great and will definitely make another pass through my garden.
