Nirvana White Widow

The grow details for this strain are found in the grow log in my sig.

This strain was run during a very hot period in a time I otherwise wasn't going to use. So, anything I got from this run was gravy. That's why I chose to run the cheaper nirvana widow, which I had about 4 packs of.

In growth, these plants were subject to 95, 100+ degree days and managed to pull through. I had mainly very sativa phenos so I think that played a part.

Fresh cut plant:

The remains are now dry and are in cure:

I let these go a good 80+ days and they are giving me a good relaxed vibe. The stone is a bit bland but has some power behind it, almost like a 1/2 valium 1/2 hydrocodone buzz. The taste is not pronounced yet without a cure, but I can tell it will be a mild taste. So far, sandlewood and cedar notes backed by a faint fruity skunk are present and I imagine will increase with a cure. The smoke is fairly smooth and somewhat bland. I grade on a scale of 1 being shit early dirt-weed and 10 being the never-smoked greatest ever. This strain (as grown by me) gets a 5 for flavor, 6 for aroma, and 7.5 for buzz with an overall 6.5/10 score. This is not a bad strain and is good for the price and for my recent situation. I'm glad I took the chance to run something instead of wasting the space.

Hey Order 66,

nice picts, and great report... My Widow from Female Seeds didn't look that way, more indica, she had a incredible taste, smooth and little spicey... Mixed high/.stone too.
Your next grow will be crazy too..
Nirvana Rhino is one of the stonest weed i ve ever smoked, if you get the indica pheno than keep it, so strong... The sativa pheno is more fruity, a little like pineapple smell, not so strong as the indica's.. Be aware, if you pick up rhino s late they'll give you only enormous stone and sleep... that 's what i love !!!
Hashberry is great too, run some, incredible berry taste on one pheno, good to great yield, powerfull smoke.
Double Gum, i ve run some too (2girls), seems exactly like bubble gum from serious, sweeeeeeeeet and high if you pick up them soon ( 8 to 9 weeks)... One of my favorite day smoke last year. Ultra compacts buds, medium yield, seems to make little buds but it's just they are compact...

All the best bro !

thanks for the kind words man, please check out my next grow, it will be unique -- i love seeds, you never know what you'll get

my flo grow was heat stressed as well and looked a lot like your harvest. think heat stress produces light airy buds. fixed the temp problems with proper ventilation, hope my next run is nice dense colas. If you were to put an honest price on your ww buds, would you say they're worth 40 an eighth? Mine are, to be honest, they're not worth 60-70 that dank goes for around here. I'm not a dealer, but I like to compare what i grow to what i could buy...

yeah you can really see the toll the heat took on your buds over all.

Thanks for the report, I`m a fan of Nirvana seeds and like reading reports.
Also, next season I`m planning on WW outdoors, but will probably go for the Seedsman version (to get some freebie Thai Haze seeds). It seems to be the Sat dom too.

Next grow Nirvana are gonna be at least a pack of Bubblicious, probably another indica dom from them too...any recommendations? I need something pretty resistant to mould...so prob. not a pure indica. White Rhino/Snow white?

I find my smoke to invariably be at least average or above average to what is typically sold as "kind" bud where I've lived. More often than not, however, it's of much better quality. Plus, I know exactly what's gone "in it" and how it was grown, with care. This weed here is very, very stony, despite it not looking like frost balls. Frost usually is akin to stronger weed, but not always so for me. I still like the look of a frosty bud though (both kinds). I have never sold my stuff, given away maybe, but if I did I would say it is worth $40 an eighth but not a whole lot more than that, but I don't live in nyc or la, weed is not that expensive here.

I like nirvana too. The only other nirvana strain I have run was master kush, which I found very nice but not mind blowing, very easy to grow. I have 2 white rhinos that just germed. From what I've heard that is far and away nirvana's best, and I think it's indica as well (ww x afghan).

Peace

Good. I always figured that unless you can grow stuff that's equal to or better than the top mj you can buy in your area, it's not worth it.
