I've had extremely bad luck with Nirvana's White Rhino. Killed all of a pack from seedboutique and all of a pack I personally brought back from Nirvana in Amsterdam. Had a bountiful crop this year of a pure Indian sativa though...will keep me supplied till the dry season ;)

rodia thats so utterly untrue...

if i would cross lets say sour diesel ibl with say...sensi seeds silver haze..and sell the for oh lets say 5 bucks a pack. And if breeding is done right...it could compete with the best of em.

Price means nothing! More so in the cannabis industry...most breeders are hobby growers...and could afford to breed and spread the seeds for the price of dirt and/or nutrients

yeah dude, there are plenty of high priced seeds that are "bred" in someone's closet, and or garage. You don't need a scientific laboratory or huge warehouse to make quality seeds of quality genetics...

Just look at Rezdog Seeds...Then take a look at BOG Seeds.... Basically, former cash croppers/tokers turned commerical seed sellers. Using their spare rooms or garages to make thousands of seeds, charging anywhere from $5-15 per seed. I see many happy customers from both seed companies, who in a lot of people's opinions are just basically "knock-off artists" and "newbie breeders."

Nirvana seeds are high quality.
Every pack I have grown from Nirvana has been excellent in all respects.

Just my take on what makes a good breeder... You can grow a few plants, make a F1 out of what you've got and go lucky. You can peddle the grains on the internet, or pass on a clone and make yourself a name that way. In theory you can do this and call yourself a breeder, but there are breeders and breeders. In order to become a good breeder, you need to have an eye and nose for what genetic traits are worth passing on. A bag full of knowhow and experience will of course help you to improve your work. Then, you need a good genepool to work with, and you need space. A breeder with good connections can get his hands on rare genetics from all over the world. The breeder with a lot of space has an advantage over other breeders, because with more space he can grow more plants, create a wider selection of genetics, and in theory get more "winners" out of it. The closet breeeder might go lucky on a cross, but he may not be able to stabilize that cross and make a quality product out of it, and he will not put out one high quality strain after another, like the best breeders in the world do.

I didn't have a camera when I harvested my WR but the smoke to me is everything its cracked up to be. I love the warm relaxing "body" stone and mine also had a nice stimulating head high as well. Its as potent as the California SnowCap and MODs Dreamgoddess with almost the same high/stone. Growing 4 more right now! Love the rhino!

Redrider knows his shit too...stop by the Ultimate Sativa thread if you have any doubts about this. Though I am far less experienced than he is, I will say that my WR was great creeper-stone bud...you smoke it and you feel buzzed but that's about it, but don't smoke more right off the bat! I learned this the hard way - too much of this shit will really knock you out, but if you just take a little (2-3 good bong rips) and wait it out, the high comes on you in waves like 10 minutes later and feels really, reallllly good...I love this shit for just mellowing out and listening to music, but it also doesn't like glue your eyes closed like some heavier indicas, unless you smoke too much; in moderation, you can still function and talk to people - great, relaxing bud but with the head element also. I would totally grow this stuff again if I had the chance

Also, did your guys' plants foxtail like crazy? Mine looked WEIRD...yeilded heavy though when fimmed.

Sorry for the shitty pic, my camera kind of sucks and doesn't do this stuff justice at all; it really WAS white, as-advertised. Not on the same level as like, some pictures of BOG's gear or Chemdawg that I see around here, but I still have something to one day aspire to this way...

Thank you sir! Where I am its 12/12 sunlight year round so my little Rhino only produced a single cola but it was super frosty white and potent. This is night time bud for me too, some times not very often but I tend to get a little "wired" at night and the Rhino makes everything right again. Its also a VERY fast growing plant, I flowered, dried and smoked the Rhino I started the same time as some Nirvana NLXHaze which are just now starting to flower! I do love the Rhino!

I'm glad I found this thread! I have just begun to grow White Rhino from a pack of Nirvana seeds I bought in Amsterdam. Redrider, I can see they are quick growers! They have grown a lot in the past 3 days. Although mine are only about 6 days old, i'm really looking forward to growing these.
How many days/weeks did you past growers let them flower for?
What about vegging? How many weeks.
I guess since I am starting from seed, I will vegg until they all have alternating nodes. Then I can switch. But heres some photos of my babies...
