Next Generation Seed Company: Romulan and Purple Gas

Figured I would post one of these. New to the site. Just now poppin some Romulan and Purple Gas seeds. I just harvested my summer run. Was not the yield I was hoping for, but it's good smoke no less. Here are the seeds in a little germ station I have setup in a shower. I have them in some organic starter soil from the hydro store. I make my own soil, so that is what they'll be transplanted into here soon enough.

I did notice one of the seedlings is pushing its way out of the soil. Should I just let it do its thing, or bury it back down?

Yeah, I like the purple lights so far. I got em from my old man. He doesn't use em any more and my HPS kicked the bucket. I though about getting one of the fancy LEDs they have out now. However I don't see the point in dropping a grand on a light when I have two I can have for free!

Holy cow, that bloom plus 1500 seems legit. People seem to love them and their warranty sound legit. I just might give em a shot...I have a grow tent in the garage I have been thinking about throwing a few plants in. Maybe I'll pick up one of them and see how they do compared to my old school king led. Thanks!

Got six out of the eight beans up and rising. Two of the Purple Gas took too long to pop and got rot. There is another PG that seems to be a runt as well. However my last run I had a runt, I kept it and it turned out to be the most resinous plant out of 'em all. All four Romulans popped no problem and are very strong!

Got the soil mixed! I used some Seacoast Compost, Wigglers Worm castings, Dolomite Lime, Garden Gypsum, Shrimp Meal, Kelp Meal, Azomite and Neem Seed Meal. I mixed all that into some ProMix OMRI stamped substrate. Which has coir, perlite and some basic minerals, I added extra perlite as I felt there was not enough in the promix. I also picked up some worms from a guy named Tim in town. European Night Crawlers. Hopefully that will help airate the soil even more and break down some of these slow release nutrients even faster. I noticed on my last run of living soil the root ball at the end was not very impressive. I feel the soil was waaaaaay to compact. I also used a jiffy starter and noticed that the roots had a hard time leaving that mesh. Here are some pics of the soil and wormz!

Ive heard good things about their grape god and ive always wanted to try their Island Sweet Skunk. Sucks theyre always sold out at the seedbanks

They’re in stock of both on their direct website. Good customer service. The owner of the company Taylor will call you and confirm. Had a pretty good conversation, cool dude. I heard really good things about Romulan through the PotCast. Excited to grow some old school gear.

Here is a long over due update! Most the girls are doing great! The Purple Gas front left got mangled in a transplant and just never recovered. Had a bit of a gnat issue. I went on vacation for three weeks and came back to a full blown gnat infestation. Cleared up fast with some stickies and mosquito bits. Have only seen two in the last few days. Did the last dose of mosquito bits last night. They're in their third week of flower. The Romulans are cruising, the purple gases will definitely be staying in the room a tad longer. At least from what I can tell now. I just did a top dress of some worm castings, compost and terp tea. I also gave them a good watering and foliar spray of some Thrive Yah-Whey (probiotic) and Mammoth P microbes. They loved it, as you can see in the picture of the Purple Gas #2, if it prayed any harder the leafs might break off. Around week six I will give one small feeding of terp tea and some more mammoth P to send them off into the sunset!
