Next Generation Feminized Afghani Kush

Hey everybody! Just finished up some Next Generation feminized Afghani Kush and I figured I would share incase anyone else had interest in this strain. I've been running it for a year or so, and I have been enjoying it. It grows slow in veg (can take a month longer than other strains), sometimes it will stall if it is shocked in any way, and my first plant was a complete runt that I cloned anyway, but I am so glad I did. She takes about 50 days to flower, but you can take her longer if you want. She is pretty easy when it comes to nutrients, not super sensitive. The high is really nice, a long (can last 2-4 hours), euphoric (like reaching the view after a hike), and relaxing. If you pick around 50 days the high will have more focus to it, pick later and it gets really spacey and very relaxing (you might not feel like doing much of anything). I find it to be a good strain for pain relief and nausea. The taste while smoking is a sweet, spicy earthiness with a unique twang that can come with a cure, I can't really explain it but it has a nice complexity. I would suggest these seeds to anyone who is looking for a nice, short flowering strain, but does not mind a bit of trouble getting there.

Being a big fan of the old Federation seed co, I am interested in Next Gen gear. Always good to see some nice reviews, good or bad, on any strain I have been looking at.

Lester Beans - Federation's ISS is why I wanted to grow, so I hear you 100%. I've tried to run the ISS, romulan, and romulan diesel, but I could only get the ISS beans to crack open, and then I have only had two crack their shell. She is certainly the toughest plant to grow, but just pops buds up everywhere, even with a severe nutrient deficiency, and has a sweet, grapefruit taste that cures into an odd, honey sweet grapefruit with a bit of musky skunkiness to it. It's very good and very potent, but not the same legendary smoke I remember from before. If I could get a bunch of bean to pop, I'd pheno hunt, but with my less than impressive results I feel like I would be wasting my money. You have any luck with Next Gen? Better yet, got any Fed packs in the vault?

I lost my Cotton Candy mother last year or so and puke about it regularly. What a strain! Grew lots of romulan. Will get a pack of those soon and do an open pollination. There is gold in those beans, lots of it.

Anyone have any Federation seeds? Not wanting to violate tou, just curious if any survived.

Damn, I'm sorry to hear you lost her, it's tough to lose a strain dear to the lungs. Man, I always hear good things about romulan, wish I could have had them pop open. Let me know if you end up getting pack, I'd love to see what comes of it!

I don't want to violate any terms but yeah, anyone know where to find federation gear? or better yet is anyone breeding with federation gear????

I have searched and asked everywhere and can't seem to find anyone with Fed gear.

Hazeman did a preservation project with Mikado, but it is sold out everywhere.

The cotton candy was an epic cross of Blueberry x Haze x Affie. Stupid potent and the flavor and aroma were unbeatable in my book. The smell in the air after burned was like walking down a carnival midway with cotton candy in the air. I have plenty of pics somewhere, I'll try to dig em up.
