why is that? I recently transplanted my plant into a 3 gallon pot filled with 3 parts Pro Mix to 1 part earthworm castings as the directions say to do on the castings bag, then watered with bottled water pH corrected to about 6.5. Im thinking it may be from a lack of nutrients that castings do not have, which is why I'm bubbling a tea mixture consisting of Peruvian Seabird Guano, Mexican Bat Guano, and Maxicrop Liquified Seaweed which will be ready to use on Monday.

Bottled spring, natural, or whatever, water frequently has high levels of sodium. The plants don't like that very much, could be what you're seeing.

So if its that, Im screwed. Bottled water with too much sodium, or tap with chlorine and chloramine which kills organic compounds. :badday: So since I cant afford a RO system, what do I do, steal a pick up truck and put a little pool in the back and go rain chasing? :muahaha:

Buy r/o water...you usually have to have your own container and dispense it yourself. It's only 39 cents a gallon where I get it...any grocery store.

The thing I don't get about your post is you say you transplanted into 75% Pro Mix, 25% ewc. Didn't mention at all what the problem with your plants is.???? Also you should add 25% perlite and 2tbs lime per gal.

My problem was mentioned as the subject of this post. I forgot to mention I added extra perlite and the pro mix already has lime.

I have never seen a RO dispencer in a grocery store or anywhere for that matter, what section are they in?

sounds like magnesium def...

Does Peruvian Seabird Guano, Mexican Bat Guano, or Maxicrop Liquified Seaweed contain magnesium? Hope so, cause I watered with a tea made of those today.
