Newbie Question

Hey guys Im new here, just had a question about a certain strain.

I currently have a 5x9x6'11 gorilla grow tent with 1000w setup at the moment. Right now theyre all about to be finished veg under 400w except for 1, well which im not sure if shes ready, is Connoisseur Cookies.

I had seeds delivered (5 plants) after I had already planted my leftover seeds (3 plants) so they were planted slightly apart, maybe a week or a bit more. I feel like they all ready to flower but my CG is only about 4' inch tall, is that bad to start flowering? Or is she a slow vegger?

Ill post a picture shortly Its on my phone.

Keep in mind I didnt wanna top or train them, but flower them ASAP because my last two grows Hermied from light leaks real bad (Had no tent before this grow) and Ive been stuck buying for a long time, making life difficult :/

Thanks for the time/help :)

How long have you been vegging them? Four inches tall isn't much....I'd have them grow to at least a foot or 18" before switching.

Light is adequate. How large are your containers? Plant might be root bound, or are you are using too much fertilizer? Those factors can severely stunt a plant.

They appear to be healthy, but are still in vegetation stage. You won't reap much if you switch to 12/12.

The two in the left have been veg for 3 weeks about,
The others for two weeks tomorrow.

I don't give much nutrients, usually less than what is written to put.
Not sure the pot size tho :S

I was thinking they would stretch a lot if I waited too long.

And thanks for replying man:)

Oh and only that one cookie is 4" the rest are 6" inch at least.

Mostly kush crosses and western winds too (very stretchy)

hiya G,,,
They look happy and healthy and young,,,,
maybe give them a while longer before you go into bloom like others have said and you can always top or supercrop any that get too tall for the canopy,,,,,,,,
good luck,,,,,s2

Cool thanks guys :)

So I'll take another pics tonight this was two days ago, I guess I'll let them go another week.

And I'm not aloud to top once in bloom tho right, only veg?

Also can I turn this into a grow journal if I have other strains in there? There all different except there might be 2 cookies and not 1 lol :D (which I'm praying for lol)

Sorry if I'm asking too many questions :p

Grow em for another 6 weeks at least, then 12/12.

Woah never vegged that long, you sure they wont stretch too much in flower?

I had a bloom box before this and Id flower them at around this time, they completely stretch and get too big for the box usually. :/

I also had Kali mist grow 6ft tall in flower and never passed 1 foot in veg :/

Id like to get a this grow done ASAP so i can start cycling and adding more in as soon as these are done.

Yep ! as the above said lots more veg,,anywhere between a month-6 weeks unless they "take off" in the next 2 or 3 weeks,,,,
it will be worth the wait,,if you switch them into bloom now then you will have a small yield i imagine,,,,,,,,,
They look happy and patience is a virtue in our thing,,,,
good luck,,,,,s2

Ah ok I see, I was really just worried about the Western winds stretching, its supposed to be 3x the size :/

Ill update on Friday again and see how they're doing. Kinda in a hurry though.

If i were to switch on Friday, how much yield you think i would lose?

My last kali mist was started flowering around the same time as now and they went 6ft and got 2ounces per plants aprox. Which i was happy with. (1 pound off 8 plants)

Would i still be able to hit a pound (which I'm aiming for) or would it be A LOT more if i wait or possibly less? Lol

Sorry for confusing question and thanks guys I appreciate it :)

Ok i see what your saying :)

Thanks for the time guys I appreciate it!

There's no way to hurry a plant!! Are you used to growing autoflowers? Those finish 65-85 days.

Photoperiods like the strains you have....veg them for at LEAST 6 weeks, then flip to 12/12 light routine. Then, it'll take another 6-8 weeks to ripen/harvest.

Be patient!!!!

Im not understanding what to be patient about though?

I first started growing in a Bloom box. It says to get them about 6inch then switch to flower. Usually taking me 2-3 weeks veg. Most of the time they would not even fit and surpass 4ft.

I switched to a full open room where i would always do the same and never passed 1 foot in veg. My kali mist would grow over 5 feet at least, almost even 6. Same with Girl scout Cookies from Cali connection. All stretched after vegging 2-3 weeks :/

I dunno if you count maybe from sprout? In that case veg would have start Oct. 23rd for the last plants which would mean they have been vegging for 3 and half weeks ( 4 and a half for the others).

I started counting this grows veg when they went in the tent. (2 weeks now)
They started in the Bloombox for about 2 weeks.

I dunno if that makes a difference? But i know I would always wait the same amount of time and ALL my plants stretched like hell (I like sativas and kushes) and I would always hit a pound with 8 plants.

Are you saying I can hit more than a pound if im patient? or that I wont get a pound because Its too early?

Usually I wait till 6' I just figured 4'inch was too small wanted to be sure lol. :p

Again sorry if im talking too much and thanks for answering haha :)

thanks and I know i cant wait! :D

Ive been dying to get real cookies since forever! I grew Cali connection GSC , only 1 out of 5 or 6 that i had were amazing, cookie smell, rock hard buds, made me so euphoric. The rest were not so great lol. Id imagine the one I liked wasnt even real cookies either, or maybe I got lucky I dunno lol.

Lookin like Ill start flowering next friday or saturday, a week and 2 more days should be fine then :D

Im also praying I got 2 Connoisseur cookies and not 1 haha :p
