Hello all,

Newbie here, having some serious issues with my first bagseed of Sensi Skunk. I planted in FFOF and appoximately 30% perlite with some vermculite added at about 10%. I also added some dolomite lime at about 1tsp per gallon. (not much)

The plants are in 8" containers and are vegging at 1.5-months.

I've been watering with a mixture of 50% tap and 50% RO water, I've always adjusted the PH to around 6.3 when watering. Up until the last two waterings I've only used Liquid Karma.

I recently noticed that the overall color has become a bit pale yellow, so thinking it was a nitrogen deficiency I started watering with Botanicare PBP-Grow at 15ml per 1-Gallon. Almost immediately the bottom of the plants leaves turned bright yellow, drying up and falling off.

Today I watered with some 7.0 Tap water mixed with 2oz of Aggrene Liquid Dolomite lime thinking that perhaps the soil has become too acidic, but I'm not so sure anymore since it's really only gotten 2 full waterings of PBP so far.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

BTW: other questions I have:

1) Should I transfer to bigger containers? How do I know when?
2) Are the plants old enough to determine the sex? If not When?

Thanks!

are you going to determine the sex by using cuttings? cos i think you can take cutting at any time and put them into flower.

I think they are too small to put into flowering... I'll add some more pictures to show my setup and put their height into perspective.

BTW: The light is a 600w Hortilux, and the fan is a 6" Vortex.

Yeah they prolly are too small. But to determine the sex of the plants you have right now. Take cuttings and flower them. Then you will know which are male and you can chuck em.

You can flower a plant at anytime? Its just not going to yeild as much as a mature plant will? I"m not 100% but thats my understanding. Maybe someone can clear that up for me too.

Nice plants btw. Good luck getting them back to good health. Its fun trying to figure this stuff out for the first time.

Some Master Kush of Dutch Passion (top 3), 3 Hashplant x white widow

^^ I also vote overwatered. Next time more perlite and no vermiculite. Directions for testing soil ph are in my signature below.

I'm no expert....but they look overwatered and root bound to me.

Just wanted to follow up and let you know they were indeed root-bound. I transplanted into larger pots last night.

Thanks for your suggestion.
