too much of a pain to find someone gallery, you can post pics once you have two posts

Try that, and then ask questions

Its easy to find someones gallery ... Look to the rite hand side of the screen, look in the persons post box/message box thingy and the button between SendPM and Quote is a button that says Gallery, u click that and it goes straight to their gallery, so u dnt need search round and shite...

Jst a lil helpful hint for ya ...

First time grow is it? ... Exciting stuff aye, good luck with it mate, I'll try help out if/when ya get ya few little problems along the way (we ALL hav problems along the way, specially on the first grow or 3 lol)

Nice to see, your plants look kinda small for their pots. What technique are you utilizing for this grow? If your planning on a scrog or sog sometimes it helps to keep a more uniform size of the plants by keeping them slightly rootbound till you put them in a bigger pot. Nothing you can do really now though, its best to not obstruct those long shoot roots right now. I keep my guys in yogurt cups which have been well modified for growing. I hate yogurt but these cups are cheap at like 30 cents apeice.

Ask me if you need to know anything else about this (I bottom water as well with mostly just ph'd water)

O, sorry d dog lol, but its still good fro any newbies to know how to find peoples galleries quickly and easily lol ... I dnt see the fuss with perlite, i've grown with and with out it and as long as ur soil is decent it doesn't seem to make any difference wat so ever (BT thats jst wat I hav found in MY experience, it obviously differs for a lot of people)

Thanks all...

I started to lst the little bastards yesterday and here are some more pics.

I have no idea what strains they are, one of them is from Humbolt but the other were random seeds.

you should have asked about your medium first

It is very hard to properly grow plants in a medium that big. The goal is to dry the soil in between waterings, and you will never do it with that, it is much to big, you are probably going to have nothing but issues until they get big enough to cover the whole area. I liek your idea, it is just way too early..

My advice there would be to get them in smaller pots until they get a bit rootbound( i said a bit) then drop them in there

I agree with the d dog ... Ur rushing urself a bit there mate... get them in some smaller pots to start with, and those look like they're still in the seedling stage, no point in LST till they've at least entered vegetative growth. At this stage in their lives it will hav very little, if no effect (except maybe a small amount of unnecessary stress)... Cheers dude, good luck!

Very good advice from the dr, but iv'e just had a thought, now they're in there, would it sound daft to try this, get what ever sized pot you need, cut the bottom out, then force the pot over the plant to the bottom, obviously trying to avoid the roots, then take it away when you feel the time is right ?
Maybe a little less stressful for the plants ?

i suspect this one of being overwatered and because of the lst the roots had uprooted so i replant... am i correct? because it looks like its gonna die.

libby i like that idea if that would work then I think i will do that...

What size pots are you going to transplant into? Make sure to be careful and try not to damage any of the roots.

okay so i transplanted the girls that were in the troughs into their own pots but at the same time i planted 3 new ladies in my new aero garden on valentines day and now they are huge. so i then transplanted one of my sicker looking soil ladies into the my aero and it took the transplant well (i think) I will put up pictures because I am having trouble sexing them, and my space for lighting is not very high so i was wondering on some ideas for lst or scrog to keep the ladies low.

also i wanted to know how long the veg cycle is and when I should go 12/12...

in the areo garden i have skunk x haze (freebie), white window, and auroa. I'll label when i put picture up.

the other four are all random seeds i had before i purchased any.

thanks.
