Oatmeal, chia, kelp, coffee grounds, horsetail, neem/karanja fermented grain, fish flakes, natto, em-1, yeast flakes.

Spread like mulch. Still pretty hot mix.

Big pH drop. Lasted for weeks. I did sprinkle some crab meal and DE over it, but basically just let it go.

I usually stop the fermentation before use. Practicing some stoner science. I wanted to add more life to the soil.
The plants grew fine. Just a little yellow around the edges. They greened up. They almost seemed to like it.

Good thing I only put 2.

With the Cement Shoes looking thin.

Did some clones off of the cement Shoes. Wish I had done the Do-Si-Do instead. Whatever.
Never been successful anyway.
Tried this method. Tried that method. Nothing.

Cut these off with dull unsterile scissors. Stuck them in soil using a quart size fabric pot (HTP). Watered well. Left to drain in a covered bucket, sitting in their own drainage.
Four out of four so far. The first one became the mother.

Too much nitrogen in my soil mix.
I believe from the use of too much llama manure.
Plants are staying green. Lots of leaf. I believe the flowering may have suffered for it.
I’m not disappointed. I’ll get some good smoke.
I kind of knew it going in. I was using floor sweepings. Not exactly sure what was in it.

Next go round should be better. This one will be okay. Getting that smell.

I went ahead and took a cutting from the Do-Si-Dos. Thirty days after the switch.
Planted directly in the soil. I cut off what flower I could without doing damage.
This is it 5 days later.

Used a yogurt cup with a clear lid for sprouting.

I soaked the seeds overnight in warm water on a heat pad.

Put a little warm water in the yogurt cup.
Folded a couple paper towels so they were full length and slightly wider than the cup.
Wet the folded towels and placed them across the top of the cup, both ends hanging.
I placed 4 seeds around the perimeter. Put a nice size pencil hole in the middle of the lid and capped it.
The paper towel ends folded over the top.
Back on the heating pad.
Now I have a viewing window.
When removing the sprouts, I just remove the lid and they’re laying there. Not tangled up in the towel. Just laying free.

Left the last cutting in the other tent to harden up a little. Meant to take it out. Got busy and all shit....It’s recovering anyway.

Getting a little growth on the flowered Do-Si-Dos cutting. Going slow but going. Seems like they get a lot of bottom growth.

Mandatory evacuation today. Little grass fire down the road. Packed the truck but never left. Nice sunset.

Cement Shoes came out decent. Nice sweet citrus pine.

Been using quart size pots for my cuttings.
This half pint mesh pot from HTP outshined them all. I think three would fit in a bucket. One third the space.
