New to this but giving it a shot!

Hey fellas it's been a while since I've been on here, but it's good to be back! Haven't been growing in a while and have little outdoor experience, but want to try to go for it and see what the hype is all about!!

I also am in a very windy spot and has been beating the heck out of these poor things, any constructive criticism or advice would be much appreciated :tiphat: thanks for looking! Please follow down this road of mistakes and mess ups lol

First plant (green crack) is in a aprox. 400 gal pot I made out of chicken wire and burlap

Second plant (green crack) is aporx. 300 gal pot

Third plant (green crack) aprox. 450 gal

For soil I am using north county bountys 420 mix, along with a little happy frog and mango mulch

Get sorry for the late response, yes it is strictly to block wind, it fold down to get last hr of sun before it goes down, still can't get my plants the color I want and can't figure it out

Watering with maxi Grow (half of what is recommended ) some magical and dyno protect, also am no longer phing the water, I spray with salt and cal25 for some foliar, tea is coming tomorrow!!

Thanks for taking the time to check it out! Yea there starting to blow up finally! And their color is much better! I beleive it was being over watered, also gave it a lot of food (maxi grow and foliar sprays) I am about to get some tea brewing today as well I've heard good things about it, what do you fellas think? tea should be ready by tomorrow can't wait to see how they re going to react!!


I'm also ordering some actinovate fungacied to hopefully protect the roots from any diseases or rot, I found this helpful tip helpful tip from following stankdanks thread! https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=286001 ( beautiful grow btw!) did some research on it and it seems to be really beneficial any thoughts?!

Also hoping to get another plant or two in today!! :tiphat: cheers mates

The wind has been hitting mine pretty good this season...have a rough look with some tacoing leaves...theory is that they are updating fertilizer a little too fast due to transpiration.

Responding to Rosettastoned again, yes they are very bushy possibly to bushy? They were topped quite a bit of times when they were young what do you think?

I feel your pain buddy this winds up here are brutal! Gale force winds petty much, hopefully the fences are helping, mine were tacod pretty good as well then I just started spraying with Epsom salt and cal25 and are seeming to snap out of it, fences probably help as well, it's going to be interesting though to see how I can overcome the wind if they get to be monsters (all fingers crossed)
